CHARDHAM YATRA BY HELICOPTER
DAY : 05
Ex. Dehradoon
Dehradoon ‐ Kharsali (Yamunotri) ‐ Harsil (Gangotri) ‐ Kedarnath (Rampur) ‐ Badrinath ‐ Dehradoon
DAY 1 DEHRADUN – KHARSALI (YAMUNOTRI)
ETD: Sahastradhara Helipad: 07.00 Hrs. ETA: Kharsali Helipad: 07.45 Hrs.
Pick up from Hotel & drop to Govt. helipad at Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun which is the
Starting and ending point of this Yatra. Our Pilot and Ground staff will brief the Passengers
about the entire trip and do’s and don’ts. Board your helicopter for Yamunotri; this is the
first destination of the Yatra. Upon arrival at Kharsali (The helipad for Yamunotri) you are
welcomed by our ground staff, who will unload your baggage and carry them to your hotel.
The trek from Helipad to Yamunotri temple is 7 kms. One way trek will take 3 hours. Palki,
Horses and Pitthoos are also available from the helipad with prior arrangements. After
darshan return back and overnight stay at the Guest House/Cottage at Kharsali.
DAY 2 KHARSALI – HARSIL
ETD: Kharsali helipad: 07.45 Hrs. ETA: Harsil helipad: 08.30 Hrs.
After breakfast move to Kharsali helipad to take the Helicopter for Harsil helipad (Gangotri).
At Harsil you will be received by our representative who will unload your baggage & take
them to your resort. Passengers are advised to leave straight for temple in the car & return
to resort by lunch time. The temple is 25 kms from the helipad & the drive by car takes
approx. 1 hour, depending on traffic. We will provide transport from Harsil to Gangotri
Temple & return. Overnight stay at the Guest House/Cottage/Resort at Harsil.
DAY 3 HARSIL ‐ PHATA – KEDARNATH – PHATA ‐ RAMPUR
ETD: Harsil helipad: 09.00 Hrs.
ETD: Phata helipad: 10.00 Hrs.
ETA: Phata helipad: 09.45 Hrs.
ETA: Kedarnath: 10.10 Hrs.
After breakfast move to Harsil Helipad to take the Helicopter for Kedarnath. Due to
Government regulation, you will have to change helicopter at Guptkashi/Phata and take
another helicopter from the same helipad for Kedarnath. The Helipad at Sri Kedarnath is
about 1 km from the main temple, it is an easy walk or Palki, Horses and Pitthoos are also
available. We shall provide VIP darshan slips to the passengers. After VIP Darshan at
Kedarnath back to Guptkashi/Phata Helipad by same shuttle. Overnight stay at the Guest
House/Cottage/Hotel at Rampur.
 Passenger can visit ancient Trijuginarayan Temple in the evening if time permit…
DAY 4 RAMPUR ‐ PHATA – BADRINATH
ETD: Phata helipad: 10.15 Hrs. ETA: Badrinath: 11.00 Hrs.
After breakfast you will drop at Guptkashi /Phata Helipad to take helicopter to Badrinath,
the main Dham of your Char Dham Yatra. Upon arrival at Badrinath helipad, you will be

escorted to your hotel. Passengers are free to visit temple immediately after landing or take
rest and go for darshan in the evening. Afternoon visit Mana village which is 3 kms. from
Hotel and the last Indian village before international border with China. Overnight stay at
the Guest House/Cottage/Hotel at Badrinarth.
DAY 5 BADRINATH – DEHRADUN
ETD: Badrinath: 11.30 Hrs. ETA: Dehradun: 12.30 Hrs.
Next day early morning at 4 AM we organise special Abhishek Puja at the temple.
Here you will get the opportunity to remain inside the garbh grah or sanctum sanctorum for
reasonable time and see the entire Shringar process of the deity. Return to hotel for
breakfast, and then move to the helipad for your flight to Dehradoon.

PACKAGE EXCLUDES:
Expenses of personal nature such as laundry, telephone calls, tips, gratuities, and table drink, room
service, GST, medical evacuation due to ill health.
In case tour days increases due to bad weather additional hotel stay & food charges will be paid by
tourist extra.
BOOKING POLICY:
 The booking has to be done in advance with a deposit of 25% of the amount by
cheque/NEFT/RTGS in favour of “APNA BHARAT TOURS & TRAVELS.” & Balance amount has to be
deposited before the start of journey (minimum 30 days in advance)

CANCELLATION POLICY:
 Once a booking is made, the deposit fee is non-refundable.
 50% Cancellation from 15 days prior to departure.
 75% Cancellation from 10 days prior to departure.
 100% Cancellation from 7 days & below prior to departure.
 Please send your cancellation in writing or by Email. Verbal cancellation will not be entertained.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
 GST will be extra.
 This service is available for a group of 4 Passengers.
 The helicopter can carry maximum of 4‐5 passengers with total weight of 300 kgs including
baggage.
 Passengers are advised not to carry heavy luggage as luggage cabin in helicopter is very small.

 Weight to be restricted to max 5Kg per person, to be carried in small canvas bags. (No suitcase
permitted)
 Children above the age of 2 years will be considered as a full Package cost.
 The above package includes Darshan slip at temples although expenses for any special puja will
have to be borne by the passengers
 In case the journey is not finished within the stipulated time & passengers are not able to visit
one or more Dhams due to bad weather conditions/ technical fault what so ever may be reason
no Refund will be given.
 All disputes regarding the conducting of the Package Subject of Jurisdiction at Ahmedabad (India)
BEST SEASON:
The best season to avail the Yatra by helicopter is May – June and September‐October.
We do not operate during July‐August months due to rainy season.
