2. Some Notes:
This is based on my own experience, since I have been blogging
since 2010, blog.web6.org is my first blog, so I have tried many many hosts. The hosts I have tried are;
JustHost, HostGator, BlueHost, NameCheap and Stablehost.
For blog.web6.org I am using Stablehost, but since I am using them only a few months, I can’t
recommend it yet. However, so far I am very happy with them.
I decided to try Stablehost because it is not one of EIG company.
Find web host lists of EIG here.
If for some reasons, you want to try Stablehost, you can get 40% off with this coupon: wphost and I
recommend trying 6 months, if you’re happy you can upgrade or extend it.
3. So how much does WordPress Cost?
WordPress itself is a free blogging or CMS (Content Management System) software.
However, to install it, you will need a web host. If you just want to learn WordPress, I recommend you to
install locally. But if you want to install it and build a blog or website, then you will need to choose the right
web host.
When you look for a webhost, don’t just look that it’s cheap, because it doesn’t mean it is a good one. Not
having a good web host can only make you headache, website often down, vulnerable to hackers, etc.
WordPress host costs around $3 - $8.
