Inspired by childhood memories of his mother caring for friends and family, nurse anesthetist Galo Burbano was determined to use his training to bring medical care to underprivileged children in his native Ecuador and other third-world countries. To best serve the poor and sick of that nation and others, Galo Burbano founded Blanca's House, in honor of his mother.
