Hull and Keel & Bulb
Hull, deck and bulkheads produced with vacuum assisted resin infusion technology (VAI) in
pvc foam cored vinyl-ester/e-glass with multiaxial structural e-glass reinforcement fabrics.
Hull And Deck are laminated and structurally bonded . With the required 6 weeks waiting
period. Hull and Deck are white colored isophtalic NPG acid gelcoat.
No inner shell for weight reductions. Easy access to all parts and no hidden issues like small
leakage's. Furthermore it looks great.
Big slim rudder-blade designed via CFD. For maximum control with a minimum of friction.
For maximum strength the rudder-blade is made of composite with a solid full carbon
rudder stock.
Keel fin and Bulb designed with CFD to minimize friction while channeling all energy to carry
the boat forward. Weight: 3625 kg (950 kg Keel fin, 2675 kg Bulb). So more than 50 % of
the total weight is below waters.
The Keel fin is recessed into the hull and connected to a special FEA designed aluminum

Electronic Holmatro hydraulic backstay tension system. Operated from the mainsail

2 Holmatro mastjacks cylinders with pomp and gauge. To change mast pressure in 1 minute
from 280 bar to 380 bar.

Deck Layout and Instruments & computer
Deck layout is optimized for inshore racing before, during and after building process in
discussion with Mark Mills
The deck is equipped with Harken Black Magic line winches, racing blocks traveller and
tracks, Spinlock XX and XTS heavy duty clutches and 2 larger Holmatro winches for the
jibsheet.
Twin carbon wheels connected to the composite twin pedestals. The advantage of the twin
carbon wheels is the weight. While steering the weight of the other doesn’t effect the
steering. (centripetal force)

Pilot with reset buttons at the aft. Below deck a Multi Control, GPS Navigator, Remote

SeaTrack Race software connected to the boat instruments. With a laptop below deck and a
