- Direct students to the If Everyone Cared handout. Elicit a volunteer to read the directions in the “thought bubble”; following the video students should highlight their hero and then share responses with their neighbor; direct students to then choose one person to reread Margaret Mead’s quote and to work together to paraphrase the quote. Elicit volunteers to share in whole class discussion.
