The film title will be one of the main things
visible features of the film poster. The title
will be bold and big so its memorable.
A tag line or a film quote/review is put near
the title. This give the target audience a clue
about what the film is about.
If the film producer is successful and has
other films similar to the genre, the director
or production company may be put on the
film poster in to attract the target audience.
Reviews or quote may also be a selling point
for the film poster

The credits are conventional on film posters.
The main image enables the target audience
to see the genre straight away through the
character, costume, props and setting used.
All film posters have an eye catching nature,
so that target audience are attracted.
The genre is clearly defined.
There is usually the release date or ‘coming
soon’ so the audience know when they can
watch it.
