The inbuilt resume search engine in ResumeGrabber Suite enables you to search resumes from Google, Yahoo, Bing, AltaVista and AlltheWeb

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to use eGrabber ResumeFinder effectively.
This software enables you to search for potential resumes in Search Engines and Google
Desktop using different logics.
Follow the conventions for better understanding of the product.

1. About ResumeFinder
ResumeFinder enables you to search for potential resumes in search engines with different
search techniques. You can search for resumes in search engine and Google desktop.
You can customize the settings to provide your requirements like location, resume portals, default
keywords and logic to be followed while searching for resumes.
You need to follow certain search logic to find out the exact results. ResumeFinder provides
various built-in scripts that contain different set of logics to search for resumes. You can
customize the logics by modifying the scripts. You can also create your own script with required
logic.
You do not require any programming knowledge to create or modify the scripts. You need to
provide your keywords and other requirements as inputs. ResumeFinder creates the script file for
you and this script can be used to search for a specific set of resumes.
Use ResumeFinder to spot the right resumes and prospective candidates.

Once you download ResumeFinder, double-click the file to install.
The Install Shield wizard appears and guides you through the process of installation.
After installation, ResumeFinder is added as a toolbar to Internet Explorer.

To register the software, click Tools > Register in the ResumeFinder toolbar.
The eGrabber Product Registration dialog box appears on your screen.
If you have purchased the software or registered for a trial version**, you would have received the
License Key via email.
Type or paste the License Key under "Please type or paste your License Key here" and click
Register Now. The message "Successfully Registered" appears under Status. Now click
Continue and start using the software.

Click Continue Trial to evaluate the product for 1 day or 5 clicks whichever is earlier.
**The trial version is fully functional, but is limited to be used for 3 days or for 25 clicks, whichever is
earlier.

3. ResumeFinder Toolbar
After the Installation and Registration are completed, you can start using ResumeFinder. Launch
Internet Explorer and ResumeFinder appears as a toolbar. (Refer Figure 1)
The toolbar contains the following options:
3.1. Find
Enter your keywords (Example: Java, C++) in the space provided and click Find. The resumes
pertaining to the keywords are searched according to the settings.
The Find button on the ResumeFinder toolbar is used to search for resumes containing the given
keywords.
If you enter more than five keywords in the search field, a message “Limit your keywords to
less than five for better results” is displayed.

Click Edit to change (reduce the keywords to less than five) the keywords or click Continue to
proceed with the search.
Click the drop-down arrow next to the Find button to select the logic to be followed while
searching for resumes.

• More Scripts: Click here to download the scripts available in eGrabber website.
• Script Settings: Click here to make changes to the exiting scripts or to create your own
scripts. You can customize the settings to search for resumes from a particular location,
site, keywords and so on. You can create or edit the Scripts to create your own logic.
Refer to Script Settings for more details.
• Open all results in Tabs: When this option is enabled, the search results are opened in
individual windows (tabs for Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher)
• Show Number of results: If this option is enabled, the left pane of the search results
displays the number of results along with the query links.
• Delay result count download: When this option is enabled, the search result counts are
displayed with a time delay as specified in the Miscellaneous Settings.
The search results vary according to the number of queries set up in the selected logic. Refer to
Search for Resumes for more details on search results.

7. ResumeFinder Toolbar
3.2. Favorites
You can add the required results pages to the Favorites list.
Click the drop-down arrow next to the Favorites button and select the required option.

• Add To Favorites: Click here to add the current web page to the Favorites list. Type a
name for the web page and it is displayed in the Favorites list.
• Open All Favorites: Click here to open all the web pages available in the Favorites List.
• Organize Favorites: Click here to view the Favorites list in a window. You can select an
URL from this list and click the Delete button in the window to remove the web page from
the Favorites list.
• Copy URL To Notepad: Copies the URL of the currently opened web page to the
clipboard and inserts it into a Notepad document. You can save the document for future
reference.
• Copy Links For HTML Posting: Copies all the query links available on the left pane of
the search results page to the clipboard. You can paste these links in a HTML format.
When you click on these links, the corresponding web pages are opened.
• Copy Links For Text Posting: Copies all the query links available on the left pane of the
search results page to the clipboard and converts them into tiny URLs. You can paste
these tiny URL links in a HTML format. When you click on these links, the corresponding
web pages are opened.
Click the required web page name displayed at the end of the Favorites list to open it.
3.3. Tools
Click the Tools button to open a menu that enables you to customize the default settings, send
the log files, send your suggestions and so on. Refer to Tool Menu for more details.
3.4. Grab
If you have ResumeGrabber installed in your system, you can make use of the Grab button to
capture the resumes from the search results and transfer them to the ResumeGrabber Grid.
When you click the Grab button, ResumeGrabber is automatically launched and the program
starts capturing resumes from the current web page.

To customize the default settings in ResumeFinder, click Tools > ResumeFinder Options in the
toolbar.

In the Options dialog box that appears, you can make changes to the following settings:

Setup to search in Google related to specific country. You can also select
the resumes posted recently using this option.
View, edit or create scripts with different logics.
Setup to search in different resume portals.
Setup to search in different locations based on City, ZIP code, and Phone
number.
Save the customized settings as a profile.
Setup maximum limit for the number of windows and tabs opened during the
search process.

5.1. Search Settings
You can define the search settings like the location of the website, recently posted resumes and
default keywords.
In the ResumeFinder Options, click Search Settings.

• Select the country for searching from the drop-down list. As you select the country, you
can find that the website name of Google search engine that is displayed as Search URL
changes accordingly. For example, if you select the country as Australia, the website
name is displayed as www.google.com.au . Now the resumes are searched from this site.
• Search in webpages that has been updated in: Select the option from this drop-down
list to search for resumes posted recently. You can select from the following options: any
time, past 24 hours, past week, past month, past 2 months, past 3 months, past 6
months, and past year.
Enter the default keyword to use in search in the space provided. This default
keyword is added to the keywords you enter in the ResumeFinder toolbar. The search is
performed based on the combination of the default keyword and the keyword you enter in
the toolbar.
Click Apply to save the settings.

5.2. Script Settings
You can create, share or edit the script files. The script files can be customized according to your
requirements.
In the ResumeFinder Options, click Script Settings.

In ResumeFinder toolbar, click the drop-down arrow next to the Find button and select Script
Settings.

The already available script files are displayed under Available Scripts.
To move the script files to Selected Scripts:
• Select one or more script files from the Available Script(s) list and click to move the
selected scripts to the Selected Script(s) list.

To move the script files back to Available Scripts:
• Select the scripts from the Selected Script(s) list and click to move the selected scripts
to the Available Script(s) list.
The script files listed under Selected Script(s) list are displayed in the drop-down list when you
click the drop-down arrow next to the Find button.
♦ Click the drop-down arrow on the Create Script button and select the option to create a
script file. Refer to Creating Script for more details.
♦ Click More Scripts to download additional scripts from eGrabber website.
♦ The available search scripts are listed in the drop-down list. Select the script and click
View Script to open the script file. The file is opened with Notepad and you can make
changes to the file to customize the logic.
♦ Click About Script to view the information about the selected Script file. The About
dialog box displays the Author Information, Description, Copyright Information, Version
number and website details.
♦ Select the script and click Remove Script to delete the script file.
♦ Click the drop-down arrow on the Share Script button and select the option to send the
script file to others or save the script file or export the script files. Refer to Share Scripts
for more details.
Click Apply to save the settings.
If you have downloaded or received a new script, you need to register the file. Save the script file in any
location and double-click the file to register it.
5.3. Portal Settings
The resume portals that offer resumes free of cost have been listed by eGrabber.
You can select or deselect the portals to be searched for resumes from the available portals.
Click Portal Settings.

The resume portals have been listed under Available Portals.
To move the portals to Selected Portals:
Select the portals from the Available Portals list and click to move the selected portal
to the Selected Portals list.
To move the portals back to Available Portals:
Select the portals from the Selected Portals list and click to move the selected portal to
the Available Portals list.
ResumeFinder searches for resumes in the portals that are listed under Selected Portals list.
Click View List to open the list of portals. You can add or delete the portals in this list.

Click Insert Row to add a new portal. You need to provide the following details:

Caption: Name to be displayed in the Available Portals list.
Site Name: The website name.
Google Search String: Default keyword to be searched in the portal.
Site Query: Provide the proper URL to be searched for in this column.
Comments: Add your additional remarks.
To remove a portal from the list, select the portal and click Delete Row.
Click OK to save the changes and to return to the Portal Settings.
Click Apply in the Portal Settings to save the settings.
5.4. Location Filter
You can set up to search in selected cities, range of ZIP codes, and area codes.
In the ResumeFinder Options, click Location Filter.
The dialog box appears as follows:

In the dialog box, the cities in USA have been listed under Available Locations.
To move the locations to Selected Locations:
Select the locations from the Available Locations list and click to move the selected
location to the Selected Locations list.
To move the locations back to Available Locations:
Select the location from the Selected Locations list and click to move the selected
location to the Available Locations list.
ResumeFinder searches for resumes in the locations that are listed under Selected Locations
list based on the options selected under Location Filter:

Follow Scripts: Select this option to ignore the location settings and to follow the logic specified
in the selected Script file.
Add to results: Select this option to search for the selected logic along with the location settings.
• Location Name: Select this checkbox to search in the cities that are selected.
• Phone: Select this checkbox to search based on the area code.
• Zip: Select this checkbox to search based on the ZIP codes.
You can select any one of the logical operators AND, OR, FREE from the Use Logic to search
with the combination of the above parameters. For example, assume you have selected the city
as 'New York' and the phone code as '212'.
The search is performed as follows:
• AND: Select this option to search for all the selected parameters. (Searches for New
York AND 212)
• OR: Select this option to search for any of the selected parameters. (Searches for New
York OR 212)
• FREE: Select this option to remove the AND, OR operators and to search for the
combination of all the parameters. (Searches for New York 212)
Click View List to open the list of locations. You can add or delete locations in this list.

Click Insert Row to add a new location. You need to provide the following details:
Caption: Name to be displayed in the Available Locations list.
Location Name: The abbreviation and the full name of the city.
Zip Range: Range of Zip codes to be searched.
Phone: Area codes.

Comments: Add your additional remarks.
To remove a location from the list, select the location and click Delete Row.
Click OK to save the changes and to return to the Location Settings.
Click Apply in the Location Settings to save the settings.
5.5. Profile Manager
The settings made in other options can be saved as a profile. You can save different profiles and
use them whenever required.
In the ResumeFinder Options, click Profile Manager.

To save the current settings you have made, enter the profile name in the space provided
and click Save Profile. You can find the profile name being added to the drop-down list
available in this dialog box.
To apply the settings of a saved profile, select the profile name from the drop-down list
and click Load Profile.
To remove a profile, select the profile name from the drop-down list and click Remove
Profile.
To revert to the default settings, click Restore Default Profile.
This saves the time, as you need not configure the settings every time, when you want to search
for different set of resumes.
Click Apply to save the settings.
5.6. Miscellaneous Settings
You can specify the maximum limit for the number of windows and tabs to be opened in Internet
Explorer while searching for resumes.

In the ResumeFinder Options, click Miscellaneous.

Under Tab Settings,
♦ Enter the maximum number of windows that can be opened while searching for resumes in
the space provided. The default number is 40.
♦ Enter the maximum number of tabs to be opened in a window. The default number is 20.
Click Reset to revert to the default settings.
Under Result Settings,
♦ Enter the number of search strings for which the number of results to be displayed while
searching for resumes. For example, if you enter the number as 3, then the number of
results are shown for the first three search queries displayed on the left panel of the search
results.
♦ Enter the delay result count download time in seconds to delay the display of results. For
example, if you enter as 2-3, the results are displayed with a time delay of 2-3 seconds.
That is, the first result will be displayed by a time delay of 2 seconds and the second result
will be displayed by a time delay of 3 seconds. This is to avoid any interruption by the
search engines while searching resumes.
Sort results based on number of results found on page: Select this checkbox to sort the
results based on the maximum number of results.
Under Warnings, select or clear the checkbox to enable or disable the warning messages that
are displaying during the search process.
Click Apply to save the settings.

18. Create Scripts
It is recommended to limit the maximum number of windows and tabs within the default settings. That is
limit the number of windows to be less than or equal to 40 and the number of tabs to 20. If you go beyond
the limit, Internet Explorer may encounter memory problems.
6. Create Scripts
eGrabber Search Script is a search logic file that contains a set of search queries that can be
executed in different search engines. The search script uses unique scripting commands to form
the search query.
The script file is saved with extension .ess and can be distributed among different users. The
script files represent the search specification.
In the ResumeFinder Options dialog box, click Script Settings.
Click the drop-down arrow on the Create Script button and select the option to create the script
file.

You have two options - Basic and Advanced.
Basic - Select this option to create a script file with basic search options.
Advanced - Select this option to create a script file with advanced search options.
After selecting the appropriate option, enter a file name for the script and click OK.
A new script file appears as follows:

You need to fill in the details and save the file. The file is saved with the extension .ess

19. Share Scripts
Enter the details like Author, Description, Website, Copyright Information and version number
within the quotes.
Next you need to enter the commands to search for resumes according to your logic.
Ensure that you are entering all your commands between the BEGIN and the END statements.
The next section explains about the commands.
7. Share Scripts
You can share a script file by sending it through email, save a script file and export the script files
to another destination.
In the ResumeFinder Options dialog box, click Script Settings.
Select the script file to be shared from the Available Scripts list.
Click the drop-down arrow next to Share Script and click Send Script.

Your default email client opens with the selected script file attached to the new message. Fill in
the recipient's email ID and send the email.
Click Save Script to save the selected script in a different location in your system or in a network.
The script saved in network can be used by the other users to search for resumes from the
network system.
Click Export Script(s) to export all the available scripts to a selected destination. Select the
destination and all the script files will be exported to the selected destination and saved in a folder
called Plugin.
When you export script files, a folder called Plugin will be created by default in the selected
destination.
8. Script Commands
In the script file, enter the commands between the BEGIN and END statements.
All the queries need to be provided within <QUERY_START and QUERY_STOP>
The query can contain the following:
• Title to be displayed for the logic on the left pane of the search results.
• Name of the logic.
• Logic provided between $ symbols.

A sample query appears as follows:
<QUERY_START TITLE=" " NAME=" " LOGIC=$ $ QUERY_STOP>
All the commands need to be prefixed with the '@' symbol to identify them as eGrabber
Commands.
Example: @INPUT_KEYWORD => This command implies that the search string entered in the
ResumeFinder Toolbar is the input for the search engine.
You can combine these commands with the query.
Example: $intitle:resume @INPUT_KEYWORD @LOCATION$ => This is the query to search
for the keyword entered in the ResumeFinder Toolbar along with the location selected in the
Location Settings, in the title of the web pages.
Use the following commands in your script file to customize the search for resumes.
Command Description
INPUT_KEYWORD The INPUT_KEYWORD represents the input search string to be
searched for in the search engines.
Example: INPUT_KEYWORD = Java, C++ (skills)
SITE / PORTAL The SITE / PORTAL specifies the website or portals from which the
search results are obtained.
Example: SITE = craigslist.org
LOCATION The LOCATION specifies the place from which the search results are
obtained.
Example: LOCATION = NY OR "New York"
ZIP The ZIP specifies the range of ZIP codes from which the search results
are obtained.
Example: ZIP = 10000..14999 OR 06390 OR 00501 OR 00544
PHONE The PHONE specifies the area code of the state from which the search
results are obtained.
Example: PHONE = 480 OR 520 OR 602 OR 623 OR 928
ESS_FILE_NAME Displays the ESS script file name
SEARCH_ENGINE Specifies the Search Engine to be used for searching the resumes.
ResumeFinder supports the following search engines:
Google
Yahoo!
bing.com

You can create you own script files with various logics to search for different set of resumes.
9. Search for Resumes
If you select the proper logic to search for resumes, you can easily find out potential resumes and
right candidates.
After making the required settings and framing your own logic, start searching for resumes.
Click the drop-down arrow next to the Find button to select the logic to be followed while
searching for resumes. You can select more than one logic.
Click More Scripts to download the scripts available in eGrabber website.
Click the Script Settings to view and make changes to the scripts. You can also create new
scripts.
Open all results in Tabs: When this option is enabled, the search results are opened in
individual windows (tabs for Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher).

23. Search for Resumes
Show Number of results: If this option is enabled, the left pane of the search results displays
the number of results along with the query links.
Enter your keywords (Example: Java, C++) in the space provided and click Find.
The left pane displays links of the query logic along with the number of results and the right pane
displays the search results of the first query. Click the query link displayed on the left pane and
the corresponding search results are displayed on the right pane.

If you have selected the option Open all results in Tabs in the Find drop-down list, a message is
displayed showing the number of windows (tabs for Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher) that will be
opened as a result of your search.

The number of windows opened depends upon the number of queries in the selected script file
and the number of locations selected.

24. Search for Resumes
Click OK to proceed or Cancel to stop the process. To turn off this message, you can select the
Do not show this message again checkbox.
The search results are opened in different windows (tabs in Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher)
according to the selected logic.

When the number of windows exceeds the limit, a warning message is displayed as follows:

Click Continue to carry on the search. But this may lead to memory problems and crash of
Internet Explorer. You can click End to abort the search process. The search results executed up
to the point of aborting the process are retained and displayed.

25. Search using Google Desktop
The maximum number of windows or tabs that can be opened depends on your system configuration and
your Internet Explorer settings. It is recommended to limit the number of windows to less than 40 to avoid
memory problems. Avoid selecting too many logics and locations at a time.
10. Search using Google Desktop
In ResumeFinder toolbar, click the drop-down arrow next to the Find button and select Script
Settings.
Ensure that the script named 5_Search_Desktop is moved under Selected Script(s) and click
OK.

Now you can find the script name 5_Search_Desktop in the Find drop-down list. Ensure that is
selected.

Enter the required keywords and click the Find button to search for resumes in Google Desktop.
You can also customize the logic used to search for the resumes by editing the
5_Search_Desktop script file.

installing this software, you are agreeing to become bound by the terms of this agreement, which includes a
software license and disclaimer of warranty.

with the product version or software service that you purchase. THE COMPANY reserves the right to update
the terms of this agreement at any time without notice to you. The most current version of this agreement can
be reviewed by clicking on the "Terms of Use (Legal Info)" hypertext link located at the bottom of THE
COMPANY's Web pages.
This agreement constitutes the complete agreement between you and the company. If you do not agree to the
terms of this agreement, do not install the software. Promptly return the package and the other items that are
part of this product to the place where you obtained them for a full refund.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE - THE COMPANY grants to you, the licensee, a royalty free non-exclusive right to
use this copy of computer program (the "Software") with the terms set forth in this agreement. The license
allows you to use the software for the period subscribed by you (one month, three months, six months or one
year).

5. TRANSFER RESTRICTIONS - This software is licensed only to you, and you agree that you will not
transfer, rent, loan, sub-license or host the software without the prior written consent of THE COMPANY.
You may only make a one-time permanent transfer of the software in its entirety to another end user, provided
you retain no copies and you transfer all of the software product including all component parts, media and
printed materials, upgrades, this license agreement AND the recipient agrees to the terms of this license

6. AUTOMATIC RENEWAL AND TERMINATION OF LICENCE - At the end of the subscription
period, the license will be automatically renewed for another subscription period (one month, three months, six
months or one year), which will be same as the previous subscription period, until terminated by either party
upon 30 days written notice before the end of the subscription period. The License will terminate automatically
without notice from THE COMPANY if you fail to comply with any provision of this agreement. Upon
termination, you must destroy the accompanying written materials and all copies of software.
7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY - THE COMPANY does not warrant that functions contained in the

that the operation of the software will be uninterrupted or error free, or that any defects that may exist in the

9. PARTIAL USE - This software may not be used in whole or in part to enhance, create or otherwise assist in
the development of a similar competitive product without express written consent from THE COMPANY.
10. UPGRADE - This license entitles you to free upgrades of the software for the subscription period.
Following the upgrade, you may use the resulting upgraded software only in accordance with this license
agreement and you may not sell or re-use the upgraded product or the original product.
11. UPDATES - Certain components of this Software requires to be updated automatically from time to time
due to changes in Address formats and Webpage formats which are not within eGrabber's control. You shall
have the right to obtain Component Update(s) free of cost only for 90 Days. However, You can purchase
subscription to Component update(s) for additional fee after the free period of 90 Days to continue receiving
such updates, but for the subscribed period only. This License does not otherwise permit the licensee to obtain
and use Component Updates.
12. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS - THE COMPANY reserves all rights not expressly granted to you in this
license agreement.
13. LICENSE KEY - You may not disclose to any other person or organization your license key. You agree to
store it and keep it confidential and to notify THE COMPANY immediately if you have any reason to believe
that you lost your license key.
14. LICENSE KEY REGISTRATION - There are technological measures in this Software that are designed
to prevent unlicensed or illegal use of the Software. You agree that THE COMPANY may use these measures
to protect against software piracy. This Software may contain enforcement technology that limits the ability to
use the Software on multiple computers. This Agreement and the Software containing enforcement technology
require license key registration as further set forth during installation and in the Documentation. Verification of
the license key happens at periodic intervals and requires the computer to be connected to the Internet.
Internet connection failure during the registration check will not allow functioning of the software.
15. HOSTING - You may install the software on ONLY ONE PC at any given point of time and you may not
permit or enable other individuals to use the software over a public access network of any kind including, but
not limited to, Internet, intranet, bulletin boards, phone or mobile; unless you receive specific written consent
to do so from THE COMPANY.
16. CONSENT TO USE OF DATA: You agree that THE COMPANY may collect and use data related to the
Software, if any, gathered from your computer as part of the product support services provided to you. THE
COMPANY may use this information solely to improve the products or to provide customized services or
technologies to you and will not disclose this information in any form.
17. RESTRICTIONS ON USE - You may not sell information captured using this software or reproduce,
display, publicly perform, distribute, or otherwise use the captured information in any way for any public or
commercial purpose. The use of the captured data on any other web site or in a networked computer
environment for any purpose is prohibited. This license explicitly prohibits captured data from being placed on
a server for access to others outside the company. This License explicitly prohibits re-broadcasting or sale of
the captured data in any form. This license is not for use by Service providers to provide data extraction
services to multiple clients using the same license key. The captured data should be for company's internal use
only. This License permits the use of the software only by the end user to extract data by their company or one
end client for the purpose of using the extracted data by the company.
18. PIRATING OF DATA IS PROHIBITED - Some third party web sites and portals prohibit the use of
automated capture tools like this software to capture data, and other sites place restrictions on how captured
data can be used. This agreement expressly prohibits the use of this software to capture data from such third
party web sites and documents, as well as using such captured data in a manner where it is illegal to do so.

28. License Agreement
THE COMPANY can offer you no opinions on the legality of capturing any data, even if capability to capture
such data is included in this software. It is your responsibility to make sure you have the relevant rights to
capture and store the data the way you plan to, before using this software.
19 a. PAYMENT AND BILLING - Payments must be made annually in advance unless otherwise mutually
agreed upon and as specified in the invoice. All payment obligations are non-cancelable and all amounts paid
are non-refundable. THE COMPANY will automatically bill your credit card or issue an invoice to you every
month, if you opt to pay the annual charges on a monthly basis. Fees for other services will be charged on an
as-quoted basis.
19 b. NON-PAYMENT AND TERMINATION - THE COMPANY reserves the right to automatically
suspend or terminate this agreement if you default on your payment or if your account becomes delinquent
(falls into arrears).
20. DISCLAIMER - THE COMPANY is not affiliated or connected in any manner to any third party web
sites, including but not restricted to, online directories, listings, job boards, yellow pages and white pages. THE
COMPANY recommends you to read license agreements of these third party web sites and ensure you do not
violate any Government Laws or rules of the third party web sites before using the software. You agree that
THE COMPANY is not responsible for any such violations committed by you using the software.
DO NOT USE THE SOFTWARE IN ANY CASE WHERE SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE OR INJURY TO
PERSONS, PROPERTY OR BUSINESS MAY HAPPEN IF AN ERROR OCCURS, YOU EXPRESSLY
ASSUME ALL RISK FOR SUCH USE.
THE SOFTWARE AND ACCOMPANYING WRITTEN MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS"
WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT, GUARANTEE,
OR MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE USE, OR THE RESULT OF THE USE, OF
THE SOFTWARE OR WRITTEN MATERIALS IN TERMS OF CORRECTNESS, ACCURACY,
RELIABILITY, CURRENTNESS OR OTHERWISE. YOU ASSUME THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE
RESULTS, QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE. IF THE SOFTWARE OR
WRITTEN MATERIALS ARE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE ENTIRE COST OF ALL
NECESSARY SERVICING OR REPAIR OR CORRECTION.
THE COMPANY MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESSES OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTIBILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WITH RESPECT TO THIS PRODUCT. NO ORAL OR
WRITTEN INFORMATION OR ADVICE GIVEN BY THE COMPANY, ITS DEALERS,
DISTRIBUTORS, AGENTS OR EMPLOYEES SHALL CREATE A WARRANTY OR IN ANY WAY
INCREASE THE SCOPE OF THIS WARRANTY, AND YOU MAY NOT RELY ON ANY SUCH
INFORMATION OR ADVICE.
NEITHER THE COMPANY NOR ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN THE
CREATION, PRODUCTION, OR DELIVERY OF THIS PRODUCT SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY
DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING DAMAGE
FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS
INFORMATION, AND THE LIKE) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THIS
PRODUCT, EVEN IF THE COMPANY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH
DAMAGES.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This
warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which may vary, from state to state.
21 a. LIMITATION ON SUIT - You agree that any suit or other legal action or any arbitration relating in any
way to this Agreement or to the software MUST be officially filed or officially commenced no later than ONE
(1) YEAR after the software is received by you.

21 b. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY - IN NO EVENT WILL THE COMPANY OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE
LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DAMAGES, CLAIMS, OR COSTS WHATSOEVER OR ANY
CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, OR ANY LOST PROFITS OR LOST
SAVINGS, EVEN IF A COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE
POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSS, DAMAGES, CLAIMS OR COSTS OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY
THIRD PARTY. THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS APPLY TO THE EXTENT
PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW IN YOUR JURISDICTION. THE COMPANY'S AGGREGATE
LIABILITY AND THAT OF ITS SUPPLIERS UNDER OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS
AGREEMENT SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE.
22. GOVERNING LAW AND FORUM - All disputes arising out of, under, or related to this Agreement will
be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, USA.
23. COMPLETE AGREEMENT - This Agreement is the complete software license agreement between you
and THE COMPANY, and supersedes all prior negotiations, agreements, and understandings concerning its
subject matter. The interpretation of this Agreement may not be explained or supplemented by any course of
dealing or performance, or by usage of trade.
