 Helps you to manage your resources from anywhere you have internet access.
 Helps you format your bibliography from your choice of thousands of output styles.
It even allows you to create an output of your own!
 Direct exports from multiple databases including: EbscoHost, Proquest,
ScienceDirect, IEEE, JSTOR, LexisNexis, Wilson, Project Muse and much more
 Great for group work, co-research, or working with an advisor by allowing you to
share folders and resources.
 Write-N-Cite optional plug in allows you to create formatting in-text citations and
footnotes.

3. Getting Started: Accessing RefWorks
 Begin at www.pvamu.edu/library
 Under “Research & Finding Aids”, click on
“Research Tools”.
 Scroll down to “Tools” and click on the “RefWorks”
link.

4. Getting Started: Creating a RefWorks account
 Once you are in RefWorks, be sure

above the login name and password
fields.
 If you have yet to sign up, click on “Sign
Up for a New Account” at the top of the
page.
