the suspicious files act normal or are attempting to modify certain files, as is common with
malware and viruses. If these files communicate with sensitive areas or produce files that are
associated with known viruses BitDefender takes action and either deletes or places these files
in quarantine. On the otherhand if these files behave well, they are allowed to operate normally.
The third level of defense this software suite offers is called Active Virus Control. This level of
security protection watches every process that is running on your PC. It then checks and
monitors these processes for any signs that resemble malware activity. Active Virus Control is
not a static process that monitor’s executable files(.exe files) just when they start. It monitors
processes continuously.

to because it has a gamer mode. This will allow you to play your games and not be disturbed.
The firewall will just do its job in the background. This is a great feature that I wish was available
5 years ago.

If you copy a lot of files to and from a business or home network or work a lot on your home or
business network then this software might not be for you. The rigorious security features of the
software and the firewall drag the performance down of your PC. It also adds a few seconds to
your PCs boot time due to the startup protection.
So if you have an older PC and you’d rather have a faster machine then a well protected PC
you would be better of with another security suite. However its scan speeds are slightly faster in
comparison to the industry average. If you have a lot of drives and files this is a bonus.
