2. Sometimes it is hard to introduce yourself because you know yourself so
well that you do not know where to start with. Let me give a try to see what
kind of image you have about me through my self-description. I hope that my
impression about myself and your impression about me are not so different.
Here it goes.
I am Kristine Ann B. de Jesus, sixteen years old and a 4th year student
of Sorsogon National High School. My friends call me Bestine while my
family usually call me Tin-Tin. My parents are Maricel B. de Jesus and
Romulo S. de Jesus, Jr. They are both teachers in Casiguran Central School. I
only have one younger brother named Christian B. de Jesus , a 2nd year
student.
My hobbies are Watching Television, Reading Books, Playing Online
Games, Surfing the Net, Cooking, Listening to mellow & classical musics and
sometimes writing stories. I like watching Korean Movies/Dramas, reading
novel books, and love songs.

5. And then one time, I finally met your
Papa in a Teacher's Seminar. He smiled at
me which made my heart beats faster. I told
to myself that we should became friends.
From a simple friendship, We realized that
we love each other. I knew in my heart that
he was the man I' ve been waiting for all of
my life. Since he was also single at that
time, he courted me, and we became lovers.
But first our relationship was secret cause as
you know, your grandparents were so strict.
So every time we will have a date, It
was a secret. I will just tell my parents that I
will just go to my friend's house. But as time
goes by, we realized that we were old
enough and since your Papa's intention was
good, he finally met my parents and he
informed them that he wanted to marry me.
And after that, my parents met your Papa's
parents. Then we settled everything for our
wedding.

7. Everyone said when you are a child, you are having a good happy life
and you don't have any problems at all. But I think not all children are so
lucky enough to have a happy childhood life experience. Me by my self, I
don't want to judge anyone or criticize anybody what's going on about their
life but what I'm going to talked here is basic to my true story about my
childhood life. Sometimes things happened when you are not expecting it,
and you are just asking your self why?
Memories of childhood can be represented in many ways: a blanket,
stuffed animal, rattle, song, or maybe even a movie. We can cling to these
things for support in times of need, or just to recall fond memories of a
simpler, and in most cases happier time. As our lives change around us, and
we change to adapt to our lives we recall these items. We return to them for
comfort, or we pass them to others who need them.
8. Growing up from the beautiful land of
Bicol continues to provide me with fond
memories, strong morals, and simple beliefs. It
was living a life with an obtainable means,
working and playing as a family unit that would
attract even the average person, some of these
things so many people have long forgotten.
To wake up each morning to the sunrise, to
lie in bed and listen to all the activity knowing
that today, like any other day, will become a
challenge that is unexplainable. Excited to meet
friends and playmates and just enjoying the day
like there is no tomorrow.
This is how I describe my life when I was
still young and innocent. There are lots of things
I really want to try and questions I want to be
answered. But still It was a stage of my life that I
will never forget in my whole life.

10. My High School Life
I can't believe it has been four years since I met my gorgeous classmates,
there has been great and bad memories, my friends and I cried and laughed
together, shared each other everything, we are really like one family, when one
of us get hurts, have hard times like threats or losing someone close we all feel
the pain, cry together and try to be supportive, when we feel that one of our
classmates is not able to buy the necessary things and in need, we allocate our
saves and buy too expensive gifts for birthday or any occasion without making
our friend feel that we are intending to help. When one of us have something
pleasant like a party we all feel happy, we help her with choosing clothes make
up advice her how to do her hair etc, and even do her homework as she will be
busy !! When one of us cant understand a subject all the students try to teach
her, repeat the subject over and over till she understands it! The relationship
we have is strong, and I wish it'll always remain like thisâŠ
I'll share you some of my best memories;
11. One of my best memories was when our
class make a surprise party for our adviser
Mrs. Clara Hitta in relation with the
celebration of the Worldâs teachersâ day. I
thought It would be a simple celebration but
it turned out to be a fantastic and a lively
party. All of us participated and with some of
our saves, We bought a gift for our adviser,
wrapped it and took the present to school.
Our teacher was shocked, it was the best day
ever.
Beside all the good events there has
been very painful memories, when one of my
classmates lost her dad and my other
classmate transferred to other school. But, I'll
always remember the good events and laugh,
and the hard ones will only give me the
strength, power and make me prepared for
every hard thing I may face in the future
Sunshine.

13. My guiding principle in life is that to live with faith in God, with respect to
my parents and obey duties and responsibilities as a child. To live with faith in
God, of course every individual should have faith in God. He is the reason of all
the success in our life. He is also the reason why we are still living in this world
and enjoying our life. That's why in return, we should simply give our
unconditional love and care in Him. Also with respect to my parents. By showing
my love and care to them. And obey my duties and responsibilities as a child. For
Obedience is the greatest virtue and it must be instilled in our little minds.
Obedience, to do the right must be followed.
I really wanted to finish my studies and help my parents to fulfill their
desires. All parent's dream to their children is to finish their studies. For
Knowledge is the very important thing in the world that cannot be taken by
anyone. And knowledge is the key to everyone's success and a bridge to fulfill our
dreams in life. That is why we should study hard and strive high for our own
good. At first I really wanted to be a nurse but due to some instances and
situations that there are lots of nurse or even the licensed one who has no job, I
was encouraged by my parents to just fulfill another course . Until I decided to
choose Education. I believe that this will be a great choice since even now, I really
enjoy teaching children and even my classmates.
14. Someday I wanted to be professionally stable and
share my talents and serve the community. To be
professionally stable in a way of having a professional job
so I can provide my needs and to become independent in
doing things which I think are right. Also in a way that I
can support my family financially so I can return all the
things they have given to me and to my brother. To share
my talents as one way of helping others especially the
students. As what I have promised to my Alma Mater,
which is to help others fulfill their dreams in life and to
succeed one day. And lastly, To serve the community, to
help them grow and become better people, Those who
are truly-well-rounded students who are willing to go for
excellence, fly high and those who are not afraid to take
risk in assuming innovations and challenges in life and to
serve God as a YFC by encouraging others even the
children to be part of our community and spread their
love for God.
15. Our achievements speak for themselves. However,
when it comes to our setbacks, failures and
weaknesses, we feel uncomfortable talking about
them. All of us have failed at some time to equal our
dreams of perfection or to perform well. The big issue
is not your weaknesses; they are part of life.
I had some experiences in which I was able to face
those fears, frustrations, failures and anxieties with the
help of my parents.
16. I was shy, I didn't make a very good first impression
and wanted to change this. I noticed that when I spent some
time with people, I could open up. People appreciated my
sense of humor and trusted me. This gave me the confidence to
overcome the problem by taking it head on. My mother and I
never saw eye to eye on any issue because we were so
different. But some time later when I really felt that I wanted
someone to talk to I ask her If I can have some mother and
daughter bonding. And to my surprised, she said ok. I had a
nice conversation with her for I am not just the one who shared
my feelings and emotions but she also shared hers. As we
opened our hearts to each other, we realized how similar we
really were and how strong she was. It did not take long for me
to start admiring my mother. Now she has become a great
source of inspiration for me. I understand her so well that I am
able to anticipate her response to a situation and act
accordingly.
17. Another experience I had was
with my father.
I never trusted anyone with
anything, so I believed in doing
everything myself. I felt others would
never measure up to my standards.
But a particular situation in my high
school life drove me up the wall. I had
nearly given up in despair when my
father, helped me tide over the
situation. I was touched and felt very
blessed to have him in my life. That
day I resolved to trust others,
especially with my friends. My life
turned out well for the last three years
mainly because of my ability to
motivate and trust others, and develop
unique solutions through positive
interactions with other people.
18. As a teenager, you may be dealing with lots
of emotional highs and lows. One minute you might
feel great, and the next you feel sad and tearful. This
kind of shift in your moods is normal.
Our life is changing, just like our body.
These mood swings - sometimes we may be feeling a
lot more pressure these days, we are still developing
the skills and we need to deal with that pressure. We
may be facing added responsibilities at home,
tougher grading policies in school and your friends
may be changing.
19. As I grow older I will develop the skills , I need to
manage stress, but for now, I will just remember I am
in a tough spot and need all the support I can get. I will
always reach out to adults and friends for I know that
there is always someone there who cares for me and
who will encourage me to be best even during hard
times.
I would say that I am really a human for I can
encounter some emotional experiences. I have my
moments of happiness, sadness, anger, depression,
anxiety and a host of others feelings. Some questions
we may ask are how to deal with these emotions and
why are some feelings harder to handle than others.
20. In terms of relationships, Like emotions, everyone has
some sort of relationship with other people. Unless we are a
castaway on an island, we interact with people everyday.
When we say relationship, the very first thing that will come
up to our minds in the relationship we have toward opposite
sex a(like a boyfriend or girlfriend) but there are lots of
relationships all of us have like relationships with God, our
parents and friends. I get the blues now and then. But I always
think that it is a normal part of life. After a while, the
darkness lifts and things start to feel enjoyable again.
Sometimes, however, the sadness or loneliness persists, or
gets worse, despite all attempts to "snap out of it." Tears or
anger come easily and the simplest tasks seem difficult. But I
always think and handle things or even problems positively.
21. In my mind, I always dreamed of having a
diploma and attending the graduation. But as time
passes by and this moment will come, I feel a little bit
nervous and excited. But what I really do is just enjoy
the power and beauty of my youth. Looking back at
photos of myself when I was a child and innocent and
recall the memories I had in a way I can grasp now. I
am not worrying about the future. The real troubles
in my life are apt to be things that never crossed my
worried mind.
22. These are the things I usually do:
Sing.
Don't be reckless with other people's hearts. Don't put up with people who are
reckless with yours.
Floss.
Don't waste your time on jealousy. Sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're
behind. The race is long and, in the end, it's only with yourself.
Remember compliments you receive. Forget the insults.
Keep your old love letters. Throw away your old bank statements.
Stretch.
Don't feel guilty if you don't know what you want to do with your life. The most
interesting people I know didn't know at 22 what they wanted to do with their
lives. Some of the most interesting 40-year-olds I know still don't.
Get plenty of calcium. Be kind to your knees. You'll miss them when they're gone.

24. How I see My Future?!
10 years afterâŠâŠâŠ..
I think 80% of what I planned for myself has already achieved. I have already
a good career. After so many years of working and journey, I am now a successful
individual, who already fulfilled my dreams. I am already working in a hospital or
if not, I am working in a company and very privileged to be part of 1 of the great
companies in Asia. A woman who already had a strong experiences in life but I
know that I still have lots of things to learn and eventually share them to others.
I am able to fulfill a promise that I made to my Alma Mater and that is to
come back and teach. I am able to serve in Kids For Christ, Youth For Christ and
Singles For Christ. I would be so much happy and grateful to be back at my
service. Being one of the moderators and still continuing my service to God.
I am able to buy all the things I want. I already visited some countries
together with my family and relatives and just enjoying my life. And the
remaining 20%? What could it be? Maybe a man that I've been waiting for all of
my life. A true love that my parents were talking about. And to have my own
family. But I am still young, I must enjoy my life of being single. I would be happy
for those things and being blessed by God for not everyone was given such
blessings.
25. Obviously, this is the answer for the remaining
20%. Maybe I already met the love of my life, my true
love, and were planning to get married. For we
already knew each other at that time and we are now
ready to share our life with each other and ready to
face new challenges in life. Planning for a new
beginning as a couple and build our own family.
I would still continue serving God well, obviously
together with my future husband as Couples for
Christ. And I am planning that our children would also
be part of our success and eventually our children will
also serve God as Kids for Christ and my husband and
I will be part of our children's growth.
