Evidence from research and practice
 Simply migrating resources online and directing
tutors to deliver them doesn’t work well
 Technology brings the potential to add more to the
learning experience, not just provide a (poor)
substitute for traditional learning. Pedagogy is key
 One-size won’t fit all. Support tutors to develop
effective learning activities to suit their context
 Effective learner guidance and support is critical
 Needs reliable and useable technology
