This document outlines a lesson plan to teach first grade students the months of the year. The class has 17 students, with most being white or African American and some having ADHD. The objective is for students to learn the names and order of the 12 months through hands-on activities with calendars, films, and speaking exercises. Materials used will include a calendar for each student, educational films, and daily homework sheets. Students will recite the months daily and complete homework assignments for repetition. Progress will be evaluated through oral questions during lessons.
