ASEAN CSR NETWORK FOUNDING CHAIRMAN
TO SPEAK ATSOCIAL MEDIA WORKSHOP
Mr. Edgardo Amistad, Founding and Current Chairman of the ASEAN
CSR Network, will be part of the Benita & Catalino Yap Foundation
CSR Academy’s “Social Media Workshop for CSR Practitioners”, to be
held this January 7, 2013, from 7am to 5pm at De La Salle University.
Mr. Amistad will talk about “What is CSR?” in the Workshop’s
morning session to serve as an overview on the definition of CSR and
how Social Media has affected its practice.
Truly a stalwart in the business field, Mr. Amistad is also the President of the UCPB-CIIF
Finance & Development Corporation. As a CSR Practitioner, he serves as the President of
UCPB-CIIF Foundation, Inc. and is the Chairman of the Coconut Committee of the Philippine
Chamber of Agriculture and Foods. He also sits in the board of the Philippine Disaster and
Recovery Foundation, and is an active director of the National Cooperative Movement.
