I am analyzing the impact of moving to an "intelligent" software economy. My work focuses on the economic impact of firms in a number of industries deploying cloud services, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and machine learning. I argue that this combination of the "intelligent" software services is a General Purpose Technology, likely to be as pervasive and effective in reshaping the economy as electricity and the internal combustion engine.
Published analyst/consultant who served on the Steering Committee of the Open Grid Forum. Developed a number of studies as a Grid Computing Business Strategy Specialist, with projects in the US and Japan funde.
