Dhirubhai Ambani started his career selling snacks in Mount Girnar and later moved to Aden, Yemen. He returned to India in 1958 and co-founded a business with his cousin with an initial investment of Rs. 1500. The partnership broke up in 1965 after which Ambani started a textile mill in Ahmedabad, naming the brand "Vimal." He had a vision of dreaming big with open eyes and encouraging ideas without limitations. Ambani made Reliance the first Indian company to raise money from global markets in 1992 and was featured on the Forbes 500 list, recognized as the most powerful man in Asia. He received several lifetime achievement awards for his contributions as an entrepreneur.
