A description of my school, structure, projects...

3. Spain is divided into 17 autonomous regions and two autonomous cities Our region is called: LA RIOJA

5. Logroño is the capital city of La Rioja. Our School – CRA Moncalvillo - is a group of rural schools placed in five villages twenty minutes by car from Logroño

7. The school has got 16 classes in five villages. Five classes belong to nursery school. The others are spread between grades 1 to 6. STAFF 16 class teachers 4 teachers of English 2 P.E. teachers 1 music teacher 1 speech therapist 1 teacher for students with special needs 1 teacher for Catholic Religion 2 support teachers 1 psychologist

9. ENTRENA SCHOOL Our pupils learn: Maths, Science and history, Spanish language, English Language, PE, Music, Art and Catholic Religion (optional)

13. The school has got different projects with ICTs: tablet PC, digital blackboard, e-learning… … The vegetable garden is a joint project with a local association –PANAL- and some South American communities to recover and to learn about traditional agriculture.

15. Some subjects are taught in English and French. We participate in a bilingual project in Art, PE and Science.

17. Each school has got a library and we make many activities to promote reading with pupils and parents.
