20. Panelists Founders of the organization were gracious enough to talk about their experiences with 100 Black Men of America, Inc.

21. Keynote Speaker: John Stumpf John Stumpf is the Chairman, President, and CEO of Wells Fargo. He made it clear that his business serves no higher priority than supporting the community in it’s effort to achieve a better quality of life, especially the lives of the youth.

22. Black Tie Gala Awards were given to the most influential mentors. Musical Performance by Ledisi Young Sponsored by Wells Fargo

23. Celebrity Guest Co-host of the popular morning show, “The Steve Harvey Morning Show,” Shirley Strawberry,hosted the Black Tie Gala. Strawberry’s comedic personality had the room full of laughter the entire night

24. Celebrity Guest Grammy nominated artist, Ledisi, provided spectacular musical entertainment for the night. Ledisi also stayed after her performance to speak with fans, and give autographs

25. Celebrity Guest Star Jones, former co-host of the hit show “The View,” delivered a heart-moving speech about never giving up on our dreams, and that anything is possible with hard work and diligence

26. Celebrity Guest Award winning, multi-platinum artist Keyshia Cole, took time out of her schedule to come out and take pictures with Collegiate 100 members.

27. Celebrity Guest Award winning actor, film director, and political activist Danny Glover,conversed with members of The Collegiate 100 about his career and delivered encouraging words Glover stressed the importance of mentoring, and giving back to the community

35. Collegiate Diversity The main focus of the conference was to create new, innovative ways to incorporate diversity into our campus lives.

36. Networking is Key These are some of the people we met throughout the conference. We have new ideas for forums and potential guest speakers.

37. How We Can Benefit Others at UA Provide students with the resources, via their mentors, that will enable them to achieve their educational goals. Increase retention and graduation rates by providing students with valuable information via their mentors Provide mentors and mentees with the opportunity to become leaders in organizations. Enhance the relationship between the University and its students.
