Technical summary Film in a nutshell:

52 Shots in total old man sets of on a night time fishing trip.

Cruise ship Sailing through the night towards distant city
24 of which are entirely filmed in camera with no compositing work
28 will need 3D and compositing work. Half of which will be quite complicated. Graphic Location/Inevitable sequence

Man finds his fishing spot (near the site), casts off and sits down in
