Hardware: 200 Multi Function Eletrical Meters, and 82 Fluid Meters
(Water, Gas, Compressed Air).
Software: AVR / MEB ( Metrum Billing System)
The aim was: to implement an automatized system, as fast as
possible, and mainly not too expensive like others”
The situation was: They took note of each measurement point by
point using electromechanical meters and visiting each of those
meters, periodically. After that, they generate reports using Excel
spreadsheets. They had tried to implement an automated
system, through large engineering companies without
success, actually those huge companies didn’t have specific
expertise in measurement systems, or proposed very expensive
systems by demanding change of all equipment, panels of the
existing system, different from that proposed and implemented by
