1. Position – Smart Repair / Body shop Technician
Location – Altrincham Cheshire

Our client is the largest independent operator of franchised motorcar
dealerships in the UK. Selling a broad range of new and used motor cars and
commercial vehicles, our client represents over 20 volume brands including
Citroen, Fiat, Ford, Nissan, Renault, and is the largest Vauxhall retailer in the
UK. Today our client represents over 180 volume dealerships with a nationwide
coverage spanning all parts of the UK. Our client is looking to expand its Smart
Repair operation based at our Altrincham Ford Dealership.
Our client requires highly motivated individuals who possess a strong desire to
achieve the highest standards of work while working to pre-determined
schedule of tasks. The candidates will posses a full clean driving licence, a
willingness to be flexible and to travel throughout our Northwest Dealership
network.
The successful applicant will ideally possess the following skills: Customer
communication skills, an understanding of current Health and Safety legislation
applicable to the SMART repair industry. Practical application of water based
paint systems and UHS Clear coat products, the ability to carry out minor
repairs and refinish techniques to metal and plastic panels. Attributes that are
desirable but not essential are as follows: Paint less dent removal skills, alloy
wheel repair skills and plastic welding skills.
