    STAR – 310
    Anticorrosive, High Range, Water Reducing Super plasticizing Admixture
    Conforms to ASTM C 494 Type F

    DESCRIPTION
    STAR – 310 is a high performance set reducing, super plasticizing admixture for use in concrete and Portland cement.
    STAR – 310 admixture helps in reducing setting times in general and especially in lower atmospheric temperature, produce early
    high and ultimate increased strengths. It reduces bleed and segregation and improves workability too.
    STAR – 310 does not contain any added chloride ions ensuring that the product does not support corrosion of reinforcing steel.
    Being anti corrosive in nature, helps concrete and steel to prevent corrosion.

    ADVANTAGES
      • Increased Strength without increase in cement content.
      • Improved Durability by increasing density and lowering permeability.
      • Chloride free. It is safe in pre‐stressed concrete and with sulphate resisting cements.

    STAR – 312
    Anticorrosive, Set Retarding Super plasticizer
    Conforms to ASTM C 494 Type G

    DESCRIPTION
    Brown solution based on selective Polymers to produced high workability concrete without loss of strength. It promotes high
    and early ultimate strength by taking advantage of water reduction whilst maintaining workability.

    ADVANTAGES
      • High early and ultimate strength concrete
      • High performance concrete for durability
      • To produce high workability concrete requiring little or no vibration during placing.
      • High workability without segregation or Bleeding.
      • Pre‐cast & Pre‐stressed concrete
      • Concrete containing pozzolans such as micro silica, GGBFS, PFA including high volume fly ash concrete.

    DOSAGE
    The optimum dosage is best determined by site trials with the concrete mix that enables the effect of workability, strength gain
    or cement reduction to be measured. Site trial with this product should always be compared with mix containing no admixture.
    As a guide the rate of addition is generally in the range of 0.5‐to 2‐litres/100 kg of Cement.

Anticorrosive, water Reducing Retarding, Super Plasticizing Admixture
Conforms BS 5075 & ASTM C‐494 Type G

DESCRIPTION
STAR – 315 is a high performance water reducing, super plasticizing admixture for use in concrete and Portland cement.
STAR – 315 does not contain any added chloride ions ensuring that the product does not support corrosion of reinforcing steel.
Being anti corrosive in nature, helps concrete and steel to prevent corrosion.

Pore blocking, Anticorrosive Concrete Admixture

DESCRIPTION
STAR – 316 is a high performance porosity reducing, hydrophobic, anticorrosive admixture for use in concrete and Portland
cement to produce waterproof concrete.
STAR – 316 does not contain any added chloride ions ensuring that the product does not support corrosion of reinforcing
steel. Being anti corrosive in nature, helps concrete and steel to prevent corrosion.

    STAR – 321 is polymer engineered specifically towards the pre‐cast concrete industry to produce the highest possible early age
    strength gain, with the lowest possible cementitious content.
    STAR – 321 is a new generation polymeric super plasticizer/high range water reducer based on nano technology

Anticorrosive Polymeric PCE Super Plasticizer for Long Slump retention.
Conforms to ASTM C494 Type B, D & G, ASTM C 1017 Type II

DESCRIPTION
STAR – 327 is a new generation superplasticizer specifically designed for use in applications where very long slump retention is
needed. STAR – 327 is based on polymer and developed by using nano technology. STAR – 327 has excellent dispersing action.
STAR – 327 has the effects of Steric and Electrostatic repulsion that helps in producing a product, which is more effective than
conventional superplasticizers / water reducers.
STAR – 327 does not contain any added chloride ions ensuring that the product does not support corrosion of reinforcing steel.
Being anti corrosive in nature, helps concrete and steel to prevent corrosion.

ADVANTAGES

STAR –PCE‐4420
New Generation Slump Retaining PCE based Concrete Super plasticizer
Conforms to ASTM C494 Type B, D & G, ASTM C 1017 Type II

DESCRIPTION
STAR‐PCE 4420 is a High Range Water Reducing Admixture for High performance, High strength and durable concrete. It is based
on a Polycarboxylate Ether (PCE) Polymer. The main polymer backbone has carboxyl groups for the adsorption on the surface of
cement particles and alkoxy polyether lateral chains that keep the particles physically away from each other. This phenomenon
of separating discrete solid agglomerating particles is known as Steric Hindrance. This result in superior fluidity of the mixture
combined with better retention of workability (slump) as compared to the conventional superplasticizers based on Naphthalene
or Melamine formaldehyde polycondensates. h STAR‐PCE 4420 comprises of particles less than 1/50 the size of cement grains,
and is synthesized through ionic polymerization in nano‐scale.
STAR‐PCE 4420 is a High Range Superplasticizer (water reduction up to 40% in control concrete) with superior cement dispersion
ability to provide extremely high slump values, even to concrete mixtures with water‐to‐cement ratio of less than 0.30. STAR‐PCE
4420 can provide slump retention of more than 120 minutes after mixing at higher than ambient temperatures (35 C or more).

ADVANTAGES
     STAR‐PCE 4420 is highly dosage efficient – a much smaller dosage as compared to conventional superplasticizers is only
     sufficient. STAR‐PCE 4420 imparts high flowability to the mixture so as to fill the formwork under its own weight (self compacting
     ability) without any voids or segregation of aggregates. This self compacting concrete (SCC) maintains fluidity for longer periods
     unlike conventional superplasticizers that suffer rapid slump loss. STAR‐PCE 4420 can be used as a pumpability enhancer
     combined with plasticizing effect which allows high range water reduction leading to phenomenal increase in compressive
     strength, impermeability and durability. STAR‐PCE 4420 has no effect on the setting time of concretes and develops high early
     strength that allows rapid progress in large scale civil engineering applications. STAR‐PCE 4420 is ideal for pre‐cast and pre‐
     stressed concrete products. The very high fluidity of the concrete mixtures facilitated by STAR‐PCE 4420 results in smooth
     surfaces on removal of formwork.

     DOSAGE

     The rate of addition of STAR‐PCE 4420 is typical between 0.4% to 1.2% by weight of cement.

     STAR – 330 SNF
     Water Reducing, Retarding High Range Super plasticizer based on sulphonated naphthalene Formaldehyde
     Conforms to IS 9103‐1999 (2003) & ASTM C 494Type G

     DESCRIPTION
     STAR‐330 is Brown aqueous solution based on Sulfonated Formaldehyde and selected additives. STAR‐330 produced high
     workability concrete without loss of strength. It promotes high and early ultimate strength by taking advantage of water
     reduction while maintaining workability.

     ADVANTAGES
     Bleeding and segregation minimized: Produces high quality concrete of improved durability and impermeability.
     Slump Retention: Excellent retention of slump at very low dosage. Increased Strength: Provides high early strength for pre‐cast
     concrete with the advantage of higher water reduction ability. Improve workability: Increased workability reduces placing time
     and labor cost. Improve Quality of Concrete: Denser, close textured concrete with reduced porosity and hence more durable.

Anticorrosive, Air Entering Agent
Conforms to ASTM C 260 & IS 9103‐1999

DESCRIPTION
STAR – 318 is a high performance water reducing, super plasticising admixture for use in concrete and Portland cement to
produce air entrained concrete for increased durability and resistance to damage by frost and deicing salts.
STAR – 318 does not contain any added chloride ions ensuring that the product does not support corrosion of reinforcing steel.
Being anti corrosive in nature, helps concrete and steel to prevent corrosion.

ADVANTAGES
  • Air entrainment increases the resistance of concrete to attack by frost and de‐icing salts, reducing problems of surface
    scaling and concrete failure
  • Entrained air bubbles assist in the formation of a stable cohesive mix, reducing segregation and bleeding
  • It reduces permeability of lean concrete mixes.
  • It improves stability and cohesion in extruded Concrete.
  • Anticorrosive in nature, neither initiates nor promotes corrosion.

DESCRIPTION
Star ShotC ‐11 is a high performance alkali‐free, non toxic and non caustic accelerator for dry mix shot‐crete processes. It is a
liquid additive and dosage can be changed to obtain desired setting time & hardening time.

RECOMMENDED USES
Suitable for all applications where high early, high final strength and large thickness are required for temporary and permanent
rock support. It can be used for final lining for repairs in tunnels.

DOSAGE
Dosage depends on temperature of concrete, air substrate and reactivity of the cement used. Normal dosage ranges between 2‐
6% of the weight of cement. Site trials are recommended before finalizing the dose.

PACKING
STAR SHOTC‐11 is packaged in 30 kg, 50 Kg & 200 Kg containers.

STAR PP FIBER
Virgin PP micro & macro fiber
Conform to ASTM C 1116/C 1116M ‐ 06 4.1.3 Type III & BS EN 14889‐2:2006

DESCRIPTION
Star polypropylene (PP) fibers are hydrophobic, which do not absorb the water, and are non‐corrosive. Moreover, the
polypropylene fibers have excellent resistance against alkali, chemicals and chloride and have low heat conductivity. By these
characteristics polypropylene fibers have therefore no significant effect on the water demand of the fresh concrete. They do not
intervene the hydration of cement and hence do not influence unfavorably the effects of all constituents in the concrete mixture.

DOSAGE
For crack prevention: ‐ 600 gram / cu. mtr. (minimum)
As primary reinforcement: ‐ 1.2 kg / cu. mtr. (minimum)
The above mentioned dosage is just a guideline. It is recommended to optimize the dosage depending on the requirement.

ENICON – L™
Integral Liquid Waterproofing Compound

DESCRIPTION
ENICON – L™ is an integral waterproofing admixture for concrete / mortar which chemically converts the water‐soluble
compounds present in concrete / mortar into stable water insoluble compounds. It has good politicizing properties, makes
concrete cohesive and prevents segregation. It is used for all types of concrete / mortar requiring water impermeability.

RECOMMENDED USES
ENICON – L™ is ideal for waterproof concrete mortar constructions such as: Tanks, reservoirs, foundations, swimming pools,
terraces, bathroom walls/ floors, basements, sewers, external & internal plasters etc.

DOSAGE
0.4 % of ENICON – L™ by weight to be mixed with cement or 200 ml. of ENICON –L™ per 50 kg. Bag of cement is to be used.

PACKING
ENICON – L™ is packaged in 150gms, 1Kg, 5 Kg. and 20 kg containers.

STAR 330 PW
Chloride Free Anticorrosive Integral Powder Additive for Concrete & Mortar

DESCRIPTION
STAR – 330 PW is a fine, yellowish white powder additive for use with concrete or cement mortar mixes. STAR – 330 PW powder is
a traditional admixture system developed by latest technology of chemical engineering. STAR – 330 PW fill natural pores within
the concrete or mortar matrix to reduce porosity and improve water tightness.
STAR – 330 PW does not contain any added chloride ions ensuring that the product does not support corrosion of reinforcing
steel.

ADVANTAGES
  • Improved workability.
  • Reduced water content for a given workability In the hardened concrete:
  • No added chlorides, conforms to the most stringent chloride ion limits, will not initiate or promote the corrosion of
    reinforcing steel.
  • Increased density and durability.
  • Reduced permeability ‐ improved water tightness.
  • Reduced cracking.

DOSAGE
With normal concrete and sand/cement mortar mixes use 1 kg of STAR – 330 PW Powder for every 50 kg bag of cement.

DI PRIMER SBR
Deep Impregnating Primer based on SBR polymers

DESCRIPTION
DI PRIMER is an SBR modified product, which has deep impregnating action on porous substrates. On application it gives a clear
film over the substrate thereby binding all loose particles.

     DI PRIMER, having a deep impregnating action, gives bonding from within the surface hence the result for topcoats are very
     good. It also helps seal all the dust particles on the surface, which again results in better bonding between surface and topcoats.

     RECOMMENDED USES
       • Can be used as a primer coat under all waterproof coatings system.
       • Can be used as a sealer to seal porous substrates like concrete, sand stone etc.

     COVERAGE
     1 Lt. DI PRIMER will cover approximately 6 – 7‐sqmt areas in one coat application.

     PACKING
     DI PRIMER is packaged in 20 liter containers.

     DI PRIMER ACR

DESCRIPTION
AQUAGUARD 2C 40 is a prepackaged cementitious brush; roller or spray applied surfacing material. Modified with high solids
pure acrylic polymers, this material exhibits excellent bond strength with reduced permeability. AQUAGUARD 2C 40 forms a
breathable protective coating. AQUAGUARD 2C 40 protect exposed reinforced concrete structures from attack from acidic gases
and chloride ions. The coating is particularly suitable for use in areas of coating and marine environments and can be used in all
types of structures, for existing and new concrete. AQUAGUARD 2C 40 exhibits high wear resistance, weather resistance and is

single pack easy to apply liquid.

CONCRETE ADMIXTURE & PLASTICIZER STAR – 310 Anticorrosive, High Range, Water Reducing Super plasticizing Admixture Conforms to ASTM C 494 Type F DESCRIPTION STAR – 310 is a high performance set reducing, super plasticizing admixture for use in concrete and Portland cement. STAR – 310 admixture helps in reducing setting times in general and especially in lower atmospheric temperature, produce early high and ultimate increased strengths. It reduces bleed and segregation and improves workability too. STAR – 310 does not contain any added chloride ions ensuring that the product does not support corrosion of reinforcing steel. Being anti corrosive in nature, helps concrete and steel to prevent corrosion. ADVANTAGES • Increased Strength without increase in cement content. • Improved Durability by increasing density and lowering permeability. • Chloride free. It is safe in pre‐stressed concrete and with sulphate resisting cements. • Reduced segregation. • Produces high early strengths. • Corrosivity ‐ Non‐Corrosive. DOSAGE The optimum dosage determined by site trails with a specific concrete mix which enables the effects of workability, strength gain and setting time to be measured. The rate of addition of STAR – 310 is typical between 160 ml to 500ml per 100 kg cement. At dosage beyond 400 ml per 100kg of cement, it may act as a retarding plasticizer. STAR – 312 Anticorrosive, Set Retarding Super plasticizer Conforms to ASTM C 494 Type G DESCRIPTION Brown solution based on selective Polymers to produced high workability concrete without loss of strength. It promotes high and early ultimate strength by taking advantage of water reduction whilst maintaining workability. ADVANTAGES • High early and ultimate strength concrete • High performance concrete for durability • To produce high workability concrete requiring little or no vibration during placing. • High workability without segregation or Bleeding. • Pre‐cast & Pre‐stressed concrete • Concrete containing pozzolans such as micro silica, GGBFS, PFA including high volume fly ash concrete. DOSAGE The optimum dosage is best determined by site trials with the concrete mix that enables the effect of workability, strength gain or cement reduction to be measured. Site trial with this product should always be compared with mix containing no admixture. As a guide the rate of addition is generally in the range of 0.5‐to 2‐litres/100 kg of Cement. 6

STAR – 315 Anticorrosive, water Reducing Retarding, Super Plasticizing Admixture Conforms BS 5075 & ASTM C‐494 Type G DESCRIPTION STAR – 315 is a high performance water reducing, super plasticizing admixture for use in concrete and Portland cement. STAR – 315 does not contain any added chloride ions ensuring that the product does not support corrosion of reinforcing steel. Being anti corrosive in nature, helps concrete and steel to prevent corrosion. ADVANTAGES • Provide specified strength grades at comparatively lower cement content. • It reduce water content, improves compressive Strength. • Enhances durability through the production of low permeability concrete • Minimises segregation and bleeding and produce a dense, close textured surface, improving durability. • Chloride free, safe for use in pre‐stressed and reinforced concrete • Anticorrosive in nature, neither initiate nor promote corrosion. • Allows workability to be increased without adding extra water DOSAGE The optimum dosage determined by site trails with a specific concrete mix which enables the effects of workability, strength gain and setting time to be measured. STAR – 316 Pore blocking, Anticorrosive Concrete Admixture Conforms to IS 9103‐1999 ASTM C 494 Type A DESCRIPTION STAR – 316 is a high performance porosity reducing, hydrophobic, anticorrosive admixture for use in concrete and Portland cement to produce waterproof concrete. STAR – 316 does not contain any added chloride ions ensuring that the product does not support corrosion of reinforcing steel. Being anti corrosive in nature, helps concrete and steel to prevent corrosion. STAR – 321 is a new generation polymeric super plasticizer/high range water reducer based on nano technology STAR – 321 has the effects of Steric and Electrostatic repulsion that helps in producing a product, which is more effective than conventional super plasticizers. Conforms to ASTM C494 Type B, D & G, ASTM C 1017 Type II DESCRIPTION STAR – 327 is a new generation superplasticizer specifically designed for use in applications where very long slump retention is needed. STAR – 327 is based on polymer and developed by using nano technology. STAR – 327 has excellent dispersing action. STAR – 327 has the effects of Steric and Electrostatic repulsion that helps in producing a product, which is more effective than conventional superplasticizers / water reducers. STAR – 327 does not contain any added chloride ions ensuring that the product does not support corrosion of reinforcing steel. STAR –PCE‐4420 New Generation Slump Retaining PCE based Concrete Super plasticizer Conforms to ASTM C494 Type B, D & G, ASTM C 1017 Type II DESCRIPTION STAR‐PCE 4420 is a High Range Water Reducing Admixture for High performance, High strength and durable concrete. It is based on a Polycarboxylate Ether (PCE) Polymer. The main polymer backbone has carboxyl groups for the adsorption on the surface of cement particles and alkoxy polyether lateral chains that keep the particles physically away from each other. This phenomenon of separating discrete solid agglomerating particles is known as Steric Hindrance. This result in superior fluidity of the mixture combined with better retention of workability (slump) as compared to the conventional superplasticizers based on Naphthalene or Melamine formaldehyde polycondensates. h STAR‐PCE 4420 comprises of particles less than 1/50 the size of cement grains, and is synthesized through ionic polymerization in nano‐scale. STAR‐PCE 4420 is a High Range Superplasticizer (water reduction up to 40% in control concrete) with superior cement dispersion ability to provide extremely high slump values, even to concrete mixtures with water‐to‐cement ratio of less than 0.30. STAR‐PCE 4420 can provide slump retention of more than 120 minutes after mixing at higher than ambient temperatures (35 C or more). 9
  • 10. ADVANTAGES STAR‐PCE 4420 is highly dosage efficient – a much smaller dosage as compared to conventional superplasticizers is only sufficient. STAR‐PCE 4420 imparts high flowability to the mixture so as to fill the formwork under its own weight (self compacting ability) without any voids or segregation of aggregates. This self compacting concrete (SCC) maintains fluidity for longer periods unlike conventional superplasticizers that suffer rapid slump loss. STAR‐PCE 4420 can be used as a pumpability enhancer combined with plasticizing effect which allows high range water reduction leading to phenomenal increase in compressive strength, impermeability and durability. STAR‐PCE 4420 has no effect on the setting time of concretes and develops high early strength that allows rapid progress in large scale civil engineering applications. STAR‐PCE 4420 is ideal for pre‐cast and pre‐ stressed concrete products. The very high fluidity of the concrete mixtures facilitated by STAR‐PCE 4420 results in smooth surfaces on removal of formwork. DOSAGE The optimum dosage determined by site trails with a specific concrete mix which enables the effects of workability, strength gain and setting time to be measured. The rate of addition of STAR‐PCE 4420 is typical between 0.4% to 1.2% by weight of cement. STAR – 330 SNF Water Reducing, Retarding High Range Super plasticizer based on sulphonated naphthalene Formaldehyde Conforms to IS 9103‐1999 (2003) & ASTM C 494Type G DESCRIPTION STAR‐330 is Brown aqueous solution based on Sulfonated Formaldehyde and selected additives. STAR‐330 produced high workability concrete without loss of strength. It promotes high and early ultimate strength by taking advantage of water reduction while maintaining workability. ADVANTAGES Bleeding and segregation minimized: Produces high quality concrete of improved durability and impermeability. Slump Retention: Excellent retention of slump at very low dosage. Increased Strength: Provides high early strength for pre‐cast concrete with the advantage of higher water reduction ability.
