ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BEING A
PET FOOD DROP-OFF POINT?
The Athens Area Humane Society is opening a pet food bank to help those who are having to make the
tough choice between paying their light bill or feeding their pet. No one should have to make that decision.
The only way we can offer this crucial program is for you to assist us in helping your community. We cannot
help the needs of our community by ourselves.
We need more pet food drop-off sites. We need your help.
WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A DROP-OFF POINT
• You will receive a large plastic bin labeled with our logo which
identifies it as a donation receptacle.
• The bin will also have our contact information on it, where we may be
notified if an additional pick-up is needed.
• Most sites participating with other food bank programs have seen an
increase in their customer walk-ins due to their drop-off point
advertisement.
• We will have an online list of all of our supporters and locations.
• You may offer discounts or other promotions for customers that bring
in donations that will increase your business and help the animals at
the same time.
• Any PR for The Food Bowl will also include acknowledgement to our
most successful drop-off points, which means free advertisement for you.
