Ocean Park has faced challenges with declining attendance and financial losses in the past but has implemented changes to address this. The park has adopted a new vision of being a world leader in providing excellent guest experiences connecting people with nature. It has also developed core values and leadership principles focused on catching employees doing the right thing and putting others first. Ocean Park has outlined future expansion plans through 2017 to continue improving the park experience and attracting more visitors through new attractions, a hotel, and waterpark.
