Abiotic Stress
Celer is a specialized product for abiotic stress
management in crops. Celer contains amino acids in a
concentrated formulation unlike other diluted liquid

31. Contact angle
• “Contact angle” (CA) is a profile measurement of a drop of water in contact with a solid surface.
• When a surfactant (wetting agent) is introduced into the solution, the surface tension is reduced
and the water droplet becomes flatter.
• Lower the CA, the greater the spreading and coverage properties
• Water has a CA of 93 degrees. A typical surfactant influences the contact angle 30-45 degrees, and
UltraWet can reduce contact angles to 25 degrees or less.
