Arthur W. Ryan has embraced environmental
responsibilities as chief operating officer and chief
financial officer at clothing designer Loomstate.
Both individually and through Loomstate, he has

Stoked is a unique mentoring program that
incorporates action sports into after-school
enrichment, weekend activities, and
community service programs to help youth
realize their full potential. Through surfing,
skateboarding, and snowboarding,
Stoked for Success gives youth a sense of
empowerment while allowing for self-
expression, discipline, and creativity.

4. Stoked Mentoring Program
Participants in the program do not just partake in
the activities, they immerse themselves in the
cultures of the sports. In the after-school
enrichment program, for example, mentees build
skateboards and brands; they then have the
opportunity to present their designs to industry
professionals. They also learn financial literacy,
writing, and networking skills to help them
advance scholastically and professionally.
