2. Throughout the various and numerous
art courses spanning my high school
career, I have been exposed to a wide
range of design ideas, medias and
techniques. I’ve explored the elements of
art and principles of design through
various medias such as tempera and
clay and techniques such as dry point
engraving and print making.
7. “Passages”
The following are pieces tracing a year-long concentration
theme of “Passages”. I created work exhibited through collage,
dry point engraved plates and prints.
23. “American Heritage”
The following pieces trace a year-long
concentration theme of “America the
Melting Pot” displayed through art. This
work is exhibited through clay, linoleum
plate prints, book making and India Ink
painting.
25. Stamp Design
The design for this
piece is derived from
the design on the
clay bowl, inspired
by my families
traditions. It was
created with an eraser
carved stamp and
tempera.
