EDAWN reports 236 jobs came to area

The fiscal third quarter ended on a positive note Tuesday in the Economic Development Authority of
Western Nevada's ongoing efforts to bring new business to the region.
In the January-March period, EDAWN reported two new companies coming to the region and two
existing companies expanding their operations. That means a total of 236 new jobs, some already
filled but others to come. The companies:
* The Hartford Financial Services Group's new call center, 150 jobs
* Selco, a thermal products manufacturer new to the area, 40 jobs
* Mariah Power expansion, 9 jobs
* Sierra Nevada Corp. expansion, 37 jobs
