1. Anita Khudi-Badalbu<br />Health 11<br />Alcohol<br />As we all know alcohol can harm a person in so many different ways. Drinking alcohol everyday is living an unhealthy and a dangerous life. Alcohol abuse can harm your relationships, cause you miss work or school and can lead to many problems. If a person continues drinking then it can lead to alcohol dependence, which is called alcoholism. A person is being physically and mentally addicted to alcohol and they can’t live without it any longer. If someone has problems drinking alcohol and they can’t live without it then probably they can never stop drinking. <br />There are some behaviors which mean a person has trouble with alcohol. These behaviors are drinking in the mornings, feeling guilty after drinking, making excuses for drinking, not remembering things, Worrying about not getting enough alcohol for the weekend. This may be a problem in someone’s life and it becomes part of their life. <br />People who suffer from alcoholism need special treatments and they need to stay in a hospital or treatment center. Treatment depends on how bad your problem is. Doctors can give some medicine to a person. For example they may give the person detox which flushes out the alcohol in the body.
