How to Overcome Negative Thoughts &  Be Happy

Life could be so much better for many people, if they would just spot their negative thinking habits and replace them with positive ones.
Let’s take a look at common ways that negative thinking emerges — get good at spotting these patterns, and practice replacing them with positive thinking patterns.

Solution:  See bad things as a part of the ebb and flow of life. Suffering is a part of the human condition — but it passes. All pain goes away, eventually. Solution:  See bad things as a part of the ebb and flow of life. Suffering is a part of the human condition — but it passes. All pain goes away, eventually. Meanwhile, don’t let it hold you back.
I am a miserable failure — I can’t seem to do anything right.

Do you have the feeling that everybody is against you? Be Happy
And walk all over you?
Are your colleagues grumpy again?
Do you sometimes have the creepy feeling as if you don‘t fit in?
Do you feel somehow watched?
Is your boss always on your case?
Do you feel little and insignificant?
Are there problems on the home front?
Are you tired and listless?
Do you only want to sleep?
Or do you want to eat all day?
Is the water up to your neck?
Do you cling to the last straw?
Do you nostalgically look back to the good old times?
Do you feel pestered?
Or lonely and forsaken?
Sometimes it really feels like howling!
O.k. Now!  Cheer up!
Everybody needs a shoulder sometimes!
Sit back, take a deep breath – and relax!
A helping hand quite often is very near!
Remember the affection of those who love you!
If everything fails, eat a cookie – but only one, not the entire box, otherwise you‘ll feel even worse afterwards!
Stay cool even if they laugh at you!
But most importantly:  Laugh!
Do your best at whatever you set out to do.
Do at least one thing every day that scares you.
Get plenty of rest.
Always be open to love.
Be kind to everyone, regardless of how similar or different we may be.
Be patient, especially when you don’t want to be.
Reach for your dreams, no matter how far off they may seem.
Learn when to talk, and when to just listen.
Learn to accept your looks and your bodies.
Take risks.
Take the time to rediscover your child inside.
Accept that there are going to be things you are not going to like, but you are just going to have to deal with them.
… . and never, ever let anyone get you down!
Well, don‘t you feel better already !

  2. We’ll never be as pretty, as talented, as rich, as sculpted, as cool, as everyone else. There will always be someone better, if you look hard enough. Therefore, if we compare ourselves to others like this, we will always pale, and will always fail, and will always feel bad about ourselves.
