2. As part of our Comenius project we decided to work with our seven-year old pupils and present some games which are played in the school yard. They are not competitive games and they do not require any special skills. Their aim is to make children trust each other, cooperate with each other and have fun. In these games there are no winners or loosers.
3. “ Small islands and shipwrecks” We place several plastic rings on the ground one less in number than the number of the children. The children start running at random and when the hear the order “two by two’,they have to make pairs and get into one ring and hug each other. Likewise, the game continues, changing the number of the children who get into the ring. First Game

Then, the children have to run and find a different child and join their hands. The game continues changing the verbal orders into ‘nose by nose’, ear by ear”, cheek to cheek”, back to back” or “knee to knee”. Second Game
