In March of 2015, Habitat for Humanity International
welcomed news of a five-year pledge from Valspar
Corporation. Valspar Corporation, a leading supplier of
paints and coatings, committed $36 million in supplies
and funding to the humanitarian organization.
3. The funds included $2 million from the Valspar
Corporation Foundation. The generous
contribution makes it possible for Habitat for
Humanity International to continue carrying out
its affordable housing projects, which help
underprivileged families and revitalize
neighborhoods.
Valspar has been a vital supporter for the
nonprofit organization since 2002. The company
has donated in excess of $60 million in paints
and monetary contributions. The pledge will be a
driving force toward establishing homes through
2019.
