BSI Standards is the UK's National Standards Body and the world's first. It represents UK economic and social interests in European and international standards organizations. There are currently 31,000 standards, with ISO 9001 for quality management systems being the most widely used globally. Standards are important as they make life safer, more efficient, and facilitate trade while also improving competitiveness and increasing efficiency.
