Co-operative societies

As the members are large in number they cannot
effectively look after the management of the firm all
together.
In order to manage the firm they create a
“MANAGING COMMITEE”.
They take important decisions about management.
All the decisions are made after consulting the members
in a general meeting respectively
Co-operative owned shops.
Co-operative societies

Generally a constitution is wedded to the society for
placing internal rules regarding the working of the
business firm.

It is a part of the government policy to encourage the
formation of such societies.

Several subsidies and allowances are thus given to the
firm as and when there is any decision taken.
