Mahmud Zaman is an Assistant Professor of Urban and Rural Planning in the Science, Engineering & Technology School at Khulna University in Bangladesh. He also serves in the Office of the Director of Students Affairs as an Assistant Director. He received his Bachelor of Urban and Rural Planning from Khulna University in Bangladesh in 2009, under the guidance of Dr Mohammad Swapan. His teaching interests include highway engineering, transportation planning, geographic information systems, qualitative data analysis (QDA), and qualitative visualization, with an emphasis on South Asian experience.
