7. You could loose your IDENTITY! If you are not careful, someone can steal your identity and get credit cards and other similar things in your name. What else could happen?

8. Your parents, family members, and even people you do not know could be viewing your Facebook profile. So… be careful what you put on the internet!

9. If you do have a Facebook or a Myspace, how do you protect yourself? Go to Privacy settings and change who can view your profile. Do not make your address or phone number public.

10. Cyber bullying is everywhere, even famous people get bullied. Here is just one of the many examples of a famous young girl who is getting bullied online.

11. If you do have a Facebook or Myspace and you feel threatened, what should you do? Go to a parent or an adult that you trust and tell them. Remove all personal information from the website that you feel threatened on. Remove the person who you feel threatened by from your friends list. If it is an emergency and you are in immediate danger, CALL 911!
