One of Angela Gucwa’s research interests is the function of the morbidity and mortality conference in relationship to learning for doctors and surgeons in training. Angela Gucwa has presented several papers on topics related to morbidity and mortality, including one on the role of professional competency and another on different formats for morbidity and mortality reporting. Angela Gucwa presented these papers on morbidity and mortality as part of a group of doctors at the Academic Surgical Conference in February 2012.
