As the President of Five Points Youth Foundation United States representative of Onika
Best, our International Goodwill Ambassador, I, Andrew Williams, Jr., I endorsed the
Onika Best letter to First Lady Melania Trump in support of the Be Best Campaign.
I now thank you on my own behalf for your endorsing the 400th African American
Heritage Committee during your Presidency, inclusive of August 25th, 2019, the actual
400th anniversary of the “First (recorded) Arrivals” of pirated Africans from the Kwanza
Rive area of Angola at Point Comfort, now Fort Comfort, in Hampton, Virginia, in my
capacity as Member of the Project1619.org National Advisory Board.
Secondly, I thank you for your attempting to highlight June 19, 2020 as the 155th
Anniversary celebrated as “Freedom Day” by many Americans of African Descent, like
myself, and urge you to issue an Executive Order making Juneteenth a National Holiday
Finally, I request you announce your intention to attend, or appoint a White House
Representative to attend, the January 18, 2021 Breakfast for the 36th Annual Kingdom
Day Parade in Los Angeles (the largest in the United States, attended by 100,000+ and
televised/livestreamed by ABC to 3 Million+) themed: "Equality For All Humanity, Our
Next Step".
These demonstrations of your appreciation of your Americans of African Descent
demographic, now, can do nothing but enhance your re-election outcomes.
