1. 2nd Year: Revision for the test
Prepositions of time: AT- IN- ON

2. AT
- With the time:
- at one o’clock
- With some expressions:
- at midday
- at midnight
- at the weekend
Example:
I usually get up at half past six.

3. IN
• Parts of the day:
- in the morning / afternoon / evening.
- With the months of the year:
- in January / May / August / December….

4. IN
• With the seasons:
- in spring / summer / autumn / winter.

5. ON
• With the days of the week:
- on Monday / Tuesday / Friday / Saturday….
- on Monday morning.
- with dates:
- on July 17th / August 25th / on May 11th

6. Examples
• My mother goes to the club in the afternoon
• They go to the park at 5.00 pm.
• We usually travel to Europe in July.
• It’s very hot in Spain in the summer.
• We can go to the disco at midnight.
• His birthday is on January 21st.
• Anna has English classes on Wednesday.
• I go to the supermarket on Tuesday afternoon.
