MIGUEL HERNÁNDEZ    
Born ● He was born in 1910, with the reign of  Alfonso XIII. During the reign of Alfonso  XIII, there were many problems, and one  year before he was born, the tragic week  happened.    
WAR AND MIGUEL ● When he was 4, the  First World war  started, and Spain did  not take part. But it  did not affect Miguel  Hernández.    
RIVERA, MIGUEL AND  DICTATORSHIP Alfonso XIII, asked  general Primo de Rivera to  form Government and eliminate the Courts. This  finally  lead to the dictatorship of Primo de Rivera. Miguel was opposed to this and he defended the  Republic.    
End of the reign of  Alfonso XII In 1930, Alfonso XIII tried to restore the  constitutional system of the Restoration, but the  republican groups  joined  and demolished the  King. In 1931 Republican ­ Socialists celebrated a few  municipal election all over Spain in which the  coalition triumphed. The king Alfonso XIII left the  country, and on April 14th the Second Republic  was proclaimed and Miguel Hernández took part    in the Second Republic.
