2. My goal To achieve a healthy weight. I chose this goal because it is something I have wanted for a while now and I figured this would be a good way to motivate me and push me to work towards it. *The steps I need to accomplish my goal are: eat healthier, stop drinking alcohol and exercise more.
4. Daily steps to achieve my goal: Eat a healthy breakfast Eat a healthy lunch Eat a healthy dinner Eat healthy snacks Exercise 30 minutes daily(usually after work or class) Don’t drink alcohol Inhibitors : how busy I am proved to be a big inhibitor to my goal. I didn’t realize how little free time I have to do things like exercise or pack a healthy lunch when I will be gone all day. Enabler: My cousin is also trying to lose weight so we worked together, having a support person really helped a lot. Process
5. Results I accomplished half my goal! I managed to lose 8 pounds and a total of 5 inches off my waist. I am simply 2 pounds away from my goal, but I still have a month left in the semester! Pre-goal I weighed 138 pounds with a 35 inch waist and post-goal I weigh 130 pounds with a 30 inch waist. I feel great about myself. I forgot how it felt to not always we conscious about how I look or whether my shirt is making my stomach look big. This project was a great success!
