EI as conceptually related mental abilities that can be divided into four branches:
Perception of emotion.
Emotional facilitation of thought.
Understanding emotions.
Managing emotions ,[object Object]
Cont… EI encompasses on the following five characteristics and abilities:  Self-Awareness Mood Management Self Motivation Empathy Managing Relationships
Job Satisfaction Job satisfaction has been defined as a pleasurable emotional state resulting from the appraisal of one’s job, an affective reaction to one’s job, and an attitude towards one’s job. The happier people are within their job, the more satisfied they are said to be. Job satisfaction is a very important attribute which is frequently measured by organizations.
Use of EI in HR Applications Human resources (HR) departments use more emotional competencies based applications. There are basically two ways to increase emotional intelligence in an organization: Hire people who are emotionally intelligent. Develop emotional intelligence of the current employees.

What is Life Insurance? Life insurance is a contract that pledges payment of an amount to the person assured (or his nominee) on the happening of the event insured against.

ABOUT THE COMPANY Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance is a joint venture between Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd and Old Mutual plc. Kotak Mahindra is in business since 1985,  Insurance part of their business came into existence in the year 2001.
My Duties….. Regular Interactions with the employees to know about the working environment. Getting the questionnaires filled up Observing the mood of the employees its effects on their work. Asking their suggestions  for their and organization's improvement.
OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY To study the relation between Job Satisfaction and Emotional Intelligence. To find out the satisfaction level of the employees at S.B Advisory Services Pvt Ltd. Ludhiana. To suggest measures to improve the satisfaction level of employees.

Sampling Method : Random Sampling
Scaling Technique : Likert Scaling,[object Object]
LIMITATIONS Many of the respondents have not given proper response. The information that is provided by the individual may be biased. Time constraint is the major constraint of the study. Respondents were reluctant to disclose complete and correct information.

I use both positive and negative emotions as a source of wisdom about how to navigate my life.

The happier people are within their job, the more satisfied they are said to be. Job satisfaction is a very important attribute which is frequently measured by organizations.

Employee’s suggestions should be taken from time to time.
