MARKS 30TH ANNIVERSARY AS CONSULTING FIRM
Started in 1981, rebuilding formerly known Beauvais Manor nursing home
UNIVERSITY CITY, MO (February 9, 2012) – St. Andrew’s Management Services, a wholly owned
subsidiary of nonprofit St. Andrew’s Resources for Seniors System, is celebrating 30 years of providing
management and consulting services in the St. Louis area and beyond.
“For 30 years, St. Louis based St. Andrew’s Management Services has been recognized leader in providing
management, consulting and services to organizations, groups, companies and individuals wishing to improve,
establish, and operate senior communities,” said Mary Alice Ryan, President and CEO of St. Andrew’s
Resources for Seniors System. “St. Andrew’s services have helped groups from Hawaii to the East coast to
improve the lives of thousands of seniors and their families. We shape environments that assist older adults to
live life to its fullest.”
St. Andrew’s Management Services was created in 1981 to provide management consultation and operations
management to organizations nationwide interested in offering services to older people. Its first project was
assisting the board of Memorial Home - a nursing home in south St. Louis now known as Beauvais Manor on
the Park - to design and construct a building to move their residents from the mansion to a more modern
facility. St. Andrew’s also marketed and managed Memorial Home, filling its occupancy within 12 weeks of
opening the doors.
Its mission of helping older adults continues with the addition of Assisted Living at the Meadowlands, an 86-
bed, 66-apartment community in O’Fallon focusing on assisted living and memory care, to its management
roster. St. Andrew’s began managing Assisted Living at the Meadowlands in fall 2011.
