2. Josephine Baker is very famous because of her
dance moves, singing and choreography. She also
took much of her life to fight in the civil rights.

3. Josephine Baker was
born in St. Louis Missouri,
on June 3rd, 1906. She had 3
siblings : 2 brothers
named Richard and Willie
Mea and one sister
named Margret.
Josephine was the oldest.

4. When Josephine grew
up she got married to Jo
Bouillon , he was a
French actor . Josephine
had two girls and ten
boys, from adoption.
Sometimes she lived
with her kids in a big
castle.

5. Because of her street dancing
she traveled to Paris, France.
In Paris she became an
instant success in dancing on
stage. She traveled the world
and got better and better.
She also wrote a song called
“Pretty Little Baby”.

6. Before she was a dancer
Josephine worked at a
zoo. She also had a pet
Cheetah named Chiquita,
who wore a diamond
collar.

7. Josephine baker died in
Paris, France on April
12th,1975. She died when she
was 68. I admire this person
because she is a dancer.
