LAUNCHING THE NEW BROAD CASTING STATIONS DHAKA, LAHORE AND PESHAWAR WERE ALREADY IN EXISTANCE, LATER ON PAKISTAN BROAD CASTING SERVICE ESTABLISHED ITS OTHER RADIO STATIONS:  KARACHI 1948 RAWALPINDI 1948 HAYDERABAD 1951 QUETTA 1956 PESHAWAR 1960 ISLAMABAD AND MULTAN 1970 RADIO PAKISTAN WORLD SERVICE FOR OVERSEAS 21ST APRIL 1973 KHAIRPUR 1974 BAHAWALPUR 1975 GILGIT AND SKARDU 1977 TURBAT 1981 DERA ISMAIL KHAN, KHUZDAR AND FAISALABAD 1982 SIBBI AND ABBOTABAD 1989 CHITRAL LORALAI AND ZHOOB 1997  1998 WAS THE YEAR WHEN RADIO PAKISTAN LAUNCED ITS FM TRANSMISSIONS. 6
Telecasting IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES Radio Pakistan Broadcasted Its Transmission In All Regional And National Languages And Also The Programmes Of External Services Are  Designed In Such A Way SoAs To Project Pakistan's View Point On Domestic And Foreign Policy Issues. They Broadcasted In 16 Languages: English, Chinese, Dari, Pashto, Hazaragi, Persian, Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, Sinhala, Nepali, Turki, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, And Bangla. 7
TELEVISION IN PAKISTAN IN PAKISTAN, TELEVISION WAS FIRST TIME INTRODUCED IN THE EXHIBITION NEAR MAZARAY QUAID ON                           16 SEPTEMBER 1955; JUST FOR ENTERTAINMENT THERE WAS A SHORT CIRCUIT TELEVISION FOR Audiences  TO WATCH THE MIRCLE INVENTION. THIS EVENT WAS  ARRANGED BY AMERICAN Consulate IN KARACHI. 8
26 NOVEMBER 1964: PAKISTAN TELEVISION CORPORATION CAME INTO BEING. Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) 9
26 November 1964, The First Official Television Station Commenced Transmission Telecasts From Lahore, Followed By Dhaka, Rawalpindi And Islamabad In 1965; In Karachi In 1966; Peshawar And Quetta In 1974. Originally Telecasts Work In Black And White. Ptv National - Emphasizes On Telecasting Programmes In Different Languages To Represent The Whole Of Pakistan.
Ajk Tv - For The Residents Of Azad Kashmir.
Ptv Bolan - Baluchi Language Channel.

First Ever  Satellite Dish Receiver ( Dish Antenna ) Mounted  In Pir Pagara House And American Consulate  On 26th November 1987, Due To This, Flood Of TV Channels  Attracted The People Of Pakistan . 14
15th July 1990 Pakistan’s First Private Channel, Peoples Television Network Started Its Transmission; It Became Network Television Marketing.( 15
16 1st March 2002 Gen Pervaiz Musharraf Issued The Ordinance For Launching The Private TV Channels.
Nearly 100 Channels Came On TV Screen Like News, Entertainment, Sports, Religion, Infotainment, Music, Cooking And Business  Etc. 17
DUE TO CABLE SERVICE  SYSTEM, LOTS OF  CHANNELS CAN BE SEEN FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD ON YOUR TV SCREEN. 18
