Review the section in Chapter 11 that discusses the importance of pay and rewards on
employees.
In your own words, write three paragraphs response analyzing three positive outcomes of a fair
and equitable pay program for all employees. Review the sections of the chapter that relate to
rewards and recognition. Each paragraph must have at least four sentences. The response must be
250 to 300 words.
First Paragraph - Identify what you felt were important trends, issues, challenges, etc. in
employee rewards and recognition programs. Select what you believe are these trends,
challenges, etc. from your reading.
Second Paragraph - Assess in more specifics why these trends, issues, challenges, etc. that you
identified in the first paragraph have an important impact on employees and an organization.
What are the implications on employees or positive outcomes for an organization.
Third Paragraph - Discuss how you would utilize reward and recognition programs if and when
you were to become a manager or a human resource manager.
