• SRL : taking control over the own learning process;
performance of additional tasks to organise the own learning
process
• Organisational aspect: shift in the educational system - SRL
becomes more popular
• Meta-cognitive aspect: Learning does not only happen on
the cognitive level, but also on the meta-cogntive level
– goal setting, reflection, self-evaluation, self-monitoring, etc.
• Motivational aspect: SRL stimulates intrinsic motivation, but
motivation is also required for SRL
