4. Goals:
Improve the success of the Raider Team.
Help people achieve new physical goals.
Learn about leadership and esprit de corps.
Improve my own physical capabilities.
6. My Facilitator: SFC Michael Zeidler
My Facilitator is one of my JROTC teachers,
SFC Michael Zeidler. He was qualified to help
me as he is a retired member of the U.S.
Army, and served as an instructor in a
Ranger Battalion. He had a lot of useful
knowledge for me.
7. What I Used:
The tools and techniques I used for my project
are:
Myself.
The extended rectangular formation.
The Creekview High School property.
Ropes and climbing gear.
Facebook.
8. Problems I Had:
When I started out, I did not understand how to
organize and motivate a group of my peers.
I had no idea how to record progress or
information.
I had to learn before teaching.
9. Competition:
We have competed in five meets this year, they
are:
Riverside Military Academy.
Catoosa Range Invitational.
Winder High School (State Meet).
Hart County at NGCSU.
Best Raider 2012.
10. Was This a Success?
I believe that my senior project was a success.
We took many victories as a team, and
established a strong bond as a family.
Through teamwork and determination, a
mixed division team from a small high school
in Canton, GA, set a new standard for the
name Raider. We outmatched female, mixed,
and male division teams, and also set
records wherever we went.
11. My Research paper:
I did my research paper on the history of
AJROTC. This applied to my project because
I was leading a JROTC team. Through this, I
was able to discover the history of my team
and learn things about my favorite high
school class.
12. A Career?
This project provided great experience for my
career in the U.S. Army. I started on my way
to this career when I enlisted on September
22, 2011. I hope to take this as far as I can,
and will continue my education while
defending my country.
