Camera, Adobe & Music Video Editing Skills
1.
2. This is a similar camera to the one
me and my group used in order to
film the footage for our music
video and be able to upload them
to Adobe Premier with a simple
USB cable and be able to look at
them in great quality.
A similar camera to this one, was used
in order for me and my group to create
our ancillary tasks. With the help of this
camera we were able to take HD
quality pictures; we have learnt how to
zoom in on photos, how to make sure
the camera is focused on what we
wanted it to focus on and when to use
the flash in case it was needed.
3. We have used Adobe Photoshop in order to create
our ancillary tasks. Since only one of the members
from our group had previous knowledge in using
this program, me and other group member
Gabby, had a great time into learning how to use
this program to create the front, middle double
page spread and back cover and poster for our
ancillary tasks.
We were able to test our photos with the different
effects Photoshop provided us with, such as learn how to
edit the photos, import/export them, making the photos
black and white, increasing/decreasing the
brightness, duplicating layers and be able to crop the
photos. With the help of this program we were able to
create six polished pieces of work, with brilliant quality
and be able to achieve professional outlooks on our
covers.
4. We used Adobe Premier in order to edit our music
video. We were able to sync our clips up to this program
in order to start editing and view our clips, and be able
to add our backing track to our project. None of us
have ever encountered with this program before,
therefore it was a new challenge for us to experience
and we have learned a lot from it.
Since at AS Level we have worked on iMovie in order to
edit our opening film, we learnt that this program provided
different things for us to experience, such as we were able to
use non linear editing, something iMovie wasn’t able to
provide at AS Level. This program taught us how to add
effects to our music video, such as speed up or slow down
our clips, fade certain clips if it was needed and most of all
create a polished music video with different effects.
5. With the help of PowerPoint my group and I were
able to create presentations in order to present our
planning, construction, evaluation and the research
we have gathered. The biggest help from
PowerPoint was that I was able to present a clear
and organized presentation when it came to create
my evaluation.
Microsoft Excel has been a big help
when I wanted to create graphs in
order to show a clear understanding of
the audience feedback I have
gathered.
6. One of the biggest advantages my group and I have
received, was that we were able to make a lot of research
from the internet and be able to clearly present everything
we have gathered on Blogger. This would be the second
time, when me and my group were able to use blogger to
add all our research on it, and understand the website much
better than we did at AS Level. This year I have learnt how to
design my blog the way I like it, instead of using a simple
background the website offered me.
With the help of this I was able to adjust the withds, and
heights and therefore I was able to add the logo I created, as a
background to my profile. Blogger allowed me to embed my
slideshare PowerPoint into a blog post, therefore I didn’t have to
create massive posts in order to show what I want to write. This
website has allowed me to update everything what me and my
group are doing, and to be able to put all my
research, planning, constructions and evaluations into one place.
