1. StreetBanditos is a group of street photography enthusiast which decide to tell the story about Jakarta. We were often
went to a street together to capture the unique moments that might happened only once on a lifetime, chasing those
moments and waiting it patiently. Our mission is to bring up the real face of Jakarta into the surface and shown it to the
world about the real conditions and situations that happened around us in Jakarta.

1. What gear did you usually use for shoot photograph and give me the
reason? I usually use my mobile phone (Samsung Galaxy S) to shoot
photographs because I always have my mobile phone on my side and ready
to capture that unique moments everyday.
2. How do you often doing photograph and in what time? I try to capture
photographs ever time I can and in golden hours.
3. Why street photography? Because street photography is about honesty
and unique moments, and also I can practice street photography everyday.
4. What do you want to expose with street photography? Unique
moments in everyday life.
5. How street photography gave an impact to yourself? Since I was
exposed to street photography, I became more observant and noticing
things that I normally don't or won't. For example, back in the old days, when
I walked in the streets, I only looked straight, I did't really care about what
happened in the surroundings.

2. reason? Samsung Galaxy SII because it was doing great for me.
2. How do you often doing photograph and in what time? Every
weekend, one at the morning and one at the evening.
3. Why street photography? Because of the dynamics of life, its so
different and so unique, thats why I love street photography.
4. What do you want to expose with street photography? The reality of
life. People expression, what they do, etc.
5. How street photography gave an impact to yourself? I become more
aware about life, a hard life. Then I realize there's more people can struggle
and survive in a bad conditions if I compared their social status to myself
and it makes me feel grateful about everything that I had and achieve until
today.

1. Whatgear did you usually use for shoot photograph and give me the
reason? I used to shoot with my Nikon D40 with some of Meyer Optik
Lenses, but since my job is become crazy time nowadays i choose to shoot
with my Androids which is more portable and have ability to shoot
everywhere.
2. How do you often doing photograph and in what time? I shoot a few
pictures everyday and every time. I choose to shoot at daylight, because my
droids doesn't give good result at the night shoot.
3. Why street photography? It's simple but it's not easy, it's a lot of
challenge, such as how we can deliver the message to others and the most
important is i can do it every time i want to.
4. What do you want to expose with street photography? Life and what
is represent it.
5. How street photography gave an impact to yourself? Street
photography makes me feel life. I could see and learn a rare moment in life
that i usually ignore.

1. What gear did you usually use for shoot photograph and give me the

3. reason? I use Canon 550D and Android HTC Desire HD. I select Canon
550D because in addition to affordable price, as well as many of my friends
are using Canon. While HTC Desire HD, i fell in love at the first sight.
2. How do you often doing photograph and in what time? Almost every
day i photograph. Usually after office hour or during lunch time.
3. Why street photography? Because everyday we definitely are on the
road. Many things can be told from the streets.
4. What do you want to expose with street photography? That life is rich.
Rich with colorful life.
5. How street photography gave an impact to yourself? I became more
sensitive to the surrounding environment. Being more savoring the street
that i pass everyday. As hinted that we should enjoy the slightest life that we
go through.

Fujifilm finepix X100 and galaxy gio for shoot. Fuji x100 is very light and very
silent. it's was very helpful to me in street photography. Galaxy gio become
my second camera which I was not allowed to bring my x100.

photography is my subject of study. Not just learning photography, but
learning about life. I have to observe all of my shots by looking at the reality
of what see on the streets. These situations make me more sensitive about
what could be happening around me and make me a better person.

Q: What gear did you usually use for shoot photograph and give me
the reason?
A: Samsung GT-S5360 native mobile phone camera and Asahi Pentax
K1000. I like to use the camera phone because of easy to carry everywhere
and do not trouble me.
Q: How do you often doing photograph and in what time?
A: Whenever I want to take pictures. usually every time I leave and come
home from the office, or at my leisure.
Q: Why street photography?
A: First, I like other human activities, they do a variety of things in their daily
lives is very interesting to be photographed. Second, from
streetphotography, I should learn about life itself.
Q: What do you want to expose with street photography?
A: Real life, of course. Introducing and sharing what I see everyday. Human
habits in each place or country is certainly different.
Q: How street photography gave an impact to yourself?
A: be sensitive to the environment and the lives of people around us. almost

1. What gear did you usually use for shoot photograph and give me the
reason? I use a Samsung Galaxy Nexus i9250 recently. The reason is
"easy and simple" to carry anywhere, make me invisible when i take some

my spare time.... usually before and after my working hours, or when my
eyes see the "kodak" moment. *i'm not pretty sure for that. ;p

reason? I use Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and Nikon L120, a point and shot
camera

3. Why street photography? Street photography is the cheapest
photography style. Cheap but not easy. We can use any kind of camera
(pocket camera, mobile phone etc) to take human activities arround us. We
can improve our sensitivity in observing the environment around us

its activities. This is very interesting since it will different between each
countries.
5. How street photography gave an impact to yourself? Street
photography will opened my eyes about the world which is full of joy, sorrow,

the office break time and when traveling by public transport.

reason? I just got a smartphone camera. Because it's simple, practical, easy
and more challenging.
2. How do you often doing photograph and in what time? I always found
time to take pictures anywhere. for example, when I on the way to and from
my office or while doing vacation. I often take the time to visit a place just for
photos. for hunting, I am most comfortable going alone, because I felt free to
photograph anything.

for me is to have coverage, even though I don't much understand street
photography. for people like me who live in the city of Jakarta which has
complex social and environmental problems, street photography is the best
thing to choose as a main genre of doing photographs.

wanted to show the real state of the streets in my photos without much

1. What gear did you usually use for shoot photograph and give me the
reason? I just use a Samsung Galaxy Ace and Canon EOS 550D to shoot
photographs, the reason is because the galaxy ace is the first android phone
that I have, its simple, and I always take it anywhere so whenever I meet
interesting moment, I can capture it canon: this is the first DSLR camera I
have and am still learning to use it, the next time when I'm an expert in
photography may be able to buy a camera that has a better ability and
quality

photograph whenever the unique and interesting moment I see on the street
or wherever, but I am often hunting when the weekend with the others
“Banditos”
3. Why street photography? I love streetphotography so much, many
interesting things can we convey through street photography.

moment, an expression of someone, great and awesome composition and
the others.
5. How street photography gave an impact to yourself? I became more
sensitive to whatever happens around me, each moment has its own unique
side story to tell and captured.

1. What gear did you usually use for shoot photograph and give me the
reason? I took those street photographs using Samsung Galaxy SII and
Canon 550D. I usually use the SGS2 while I think I should taking the photo
in an invisible way, with the SGS2 I become unimpeded to point and shoot
people on the streets without have to feel being harassing someone on the
streets.

8. The 550D was usually use when I have to capture something in the dramatic
way and when I need my photos has great DOF.
2. How do you often doing photograph and in what time? I do street
photography occasionally, while I were free from my jobs and had enough time to explore the
streets around my neighborhood. I usually do streets during the golden hour to catch the deep
shadow and the great lights of nature.
3. Why street photography? Because everything is happened on the
streets, some great stories are coming from the streets, peoples was do their
unique activities on the streets, and I do walk everyday on the streets.
Streets for me is like a playground and a place for learn about human
reaction, expression, activity, and condition. Street is an ideal place to
capture many moments that might happened only once at a lifetime. It's all
about moment.
4. What do you want to expose with street photography? Human
conditions, rare and unusual moments, heritage places, unique signs, and
buildings.
5. How street photography gave an impact to yourself? Actually now I
become more aware rather than before I do street photographs. I can see
many thought of people through their expression and what they do on the
streets. I become more imaginary with moments that I saw everyday that
happened around. And after all those things was affect me to be a better
person.
