Personality disorders and addiction
1. How are addiction, tolerance and withdrawal related to drug abuse?
a. Addiction and abuse tolerance are related to drug use
because addiction is the dependecia of substances under the
drugs they are called, and this leads to abuse them, and
tolerance is related because it is not as reluctant to consume
these substances under and sometimes very little tolence.
b. I think those terms are related because those are effects of
having drug problems or addictions.
2. Characteristics of and Antisocial Personality
a. They violate other’s rights.
b. They use people as thing for their gratification.
c. They never learn how to get out of trouble.
d. They do not profit from experience.
3. Stages of alcoholism
Early Alcoholism
This stage signifies the drinker using alcohol on a regular basis
and building a tolerance to the substance tolerance is marked
by drinking more while still functioning in normal daily activities
at this point performance on the job, at home and sociability is
minimally changed.
Middle Stage
The desire to drink more alcohol to achieve intoxication grows
during this stage the body becomes more dependent on the
substance yet the mind does not necessarily acknowledge this
fact.

2. Late/End Stage
Chronic loss of control signifies the late stage of alcoholism this
includes obsessions with drinking, avoidance of normal activities
and spending copious amounts of time engaged in alcohol
related behavior.
It affects making a person abstinent so when the body don’t
receive alcohol it start to show some signs that will affect the
body as stress, hypertension etc..
4. How do personality disorders differ from other psychological
disorders?
a. Even when this two terms relate to similar ideas, they are a little
bit different. Personality disorders relate to emotions and
interaction, and psychological disorders relate to behavior in a
society.

 40% Yes – You better look for help
 60% Or more – You are already dealing with drinking problems.
